Well, I think this is it for me. Honestly not even sure I’m gonna keep it, I always get bored of shooting rimfire. Building was more fun.

Do they feel different than the Airsoft ones?
Decided to pick up one of the Magpul MP5 grips since my local shop decided to bring some in, fits great but needs a bit of modding so decided to share my experience.

If anyone wants one they are here: https://store.theshootingcentre.com/magpul-sl-hand-guard-hk94-mp5-black
In terms of fitment there will be 2 spots that need to be dremeled for the grip to fit, first is the barrel lug stabilization tab and second the rear top of the grip to clear the receiver.
The barrel lug will be in the shape of an upside down L,you will essentially shave off/cut off the top portion of the lug so its flat. You dont want to completely cut it off smooth as it aids in making the grip solid to the gun.

Next is shaving the rear sides. You will need to shave off a 3mm x 19mm section on each side, mark it off with pencil and go nice and slow. Do better than I did, and test fit as you go.
You can even cut a little less than 3mm wide to get a tighter fit, remember you can always cut more but never add on.

NOTE: If you find the grip is not slipping on in place after cutting the sides then its possible you need to trim the barrel lug just a bit more, but in my experience if that top portion is gone then its a perfect fit.
And there you have it! The grip is super solid and has zero play, and look awesome!

I want to know how many more of you search #######/CGN search multiple times a day for "DLASK" in the hopes of them magically being in stock again?
Something I sought after so much that I sold my original GSG just to get the conversion kit from IRG.
Takes everything for me not to call them and ask for updates.

im gonna guess, put a wood screw at the bottom just below the button to prevent it from moving.
Have you tried PETG? It's UV resistant. Best of both worlds between PLA and ABS. It can be stringy though and doesn't hold paint well. It's also harder to glue if needed. But it can still be sanded and holds up well to heat.

I have, Not pleased with the color as it didnt match the gun (super shiny). But I agree would be a nice material to use
Some new updates from me! (No im not dead haha)
I have been searching for a better material to develop my Rail adapters as although my PLA+ versions were strong they do not like the heat and thus warp sometimes (Mostly through sitting in a hot car or extended periods of direct sunlight)
And as most have been waiting I have been developing a Railed Adapter, although it was functional in PLA+ I wasnt satisfied with the material.
Printing in ABS turned out to be a massive failure since it behaves nothing like PLA and is quite temperamental. So I turned to SLA Printing! Here are some prototypes I can share with you!
As you can see the Railed Version has quite a bit more reinforcements developed into it and sits nice and snug in the body with no movement as far as I can tell. Paired with the solid nature of SLA printing it adds a bit of rigidity to the upper.

Some initial testing with a PLA+ Railed version showed me that it was holding zero decently well, but I was utilizing a Airsoft Reddot which was probably closer to 6 MOA so at the time I was seeing about 2-3 inch groupings at about 20-25m.

Then again I wouldnt class this as a target rifle so I was pretty content with the results.
Will be doing testing with these new SLA variants, utilizing a Vortex scope to verify how well it does indeed hold zero!
Furthermore addressing the issue of misaligned Iron sights. I created some extended front sight posts to help compensate for the deviation.
I have made 4 variants each one being 1mm taller than the last, basing it off the height of the tallest sightpost found stock with the gun.
With my VFC 416 sight (Seems to sit slightly lower than most MP5 Rear Sights) and a #2 post I was able to hit things! yay...great success!!

These are all still being tested but looks like everything is turning to be quite promising, still working on this dont worry!!![]()
Hi, would your front post inserts fit the GSG 5 kit from IRUNGUNs?
Thanks
