You'll have to 3d a filler piece as well. Jhedsy posted a photo in this thread only a few posts back where he 3d printed a filler piece to use with his picatinny handgaurd.

I had a quick look at this https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game...octa-handguard and I don't think my adapter will fit it without modifying my adapter for the cyma rail. The block protrusions will get in the way of the smooth handgaurd. The blocks on my adapter sit inside the three picatinny rails holding in in place.

I have seen an AR-15 long aluminum rail cut and fitted to a GSG16 that covered the faux suppressor. It actually looked pretty good. I can't for the life of me find the picture though. The owner must have taken it down. I believe it was one of the long airsoft ar-15 rails off aliexpress. It might be something worth looking into.

Well this isn't a 16 but I am going to leave it here anyways. DLask 9" install is easy, just need to file extractor groove and feed ramp as they are clocked differently on the GSG-15

So I decided to stretch the GSG 16 9" out to 100m. I did get a 5.5" 10 shot group, with cheap Herters 22 bulk ammo. It would be 1/2 that if I threw out a flier, was just using a cheap RDS that I'll probably replace.

Alright Im pretty happy with my current design so Im happy to sell these guys. My GSG16 Top Receiver Filler/HK Rear sight mount.

Installed with zero modifications to the gun, The plate is sandwiched between the two receiver halves, fills the gaps and give your GSG a nice MP5-esque look.

M4x0.7 thread is printed in the rear sight block for easy mounting, no need for tapping!

I cant comment about how well the sights align, But personally I made this more for the aesthetic

Printed with Esun PLA+ which is much more robust than standard PLA.

So far I have 3 Variants:
1. 416 style HK rear sight (Unfortunately don't know the brand used)
2. MP5 HK rear sight (Modeled with an SRC Mp5 Rear sight but confirmed to also fit Tokyo Marui MP5 Rear Sight, CYMA should work too)
3. Completely Flat top

Also plates 1 & 2 will work with a claw mount of the style in the pics below!

Will be doing a live test of it this weekend, but I have little worry that it will break.

That guy hit it out of the ballpark! I tried doing a similar version using CETME wood furniture but the handguard is really finicky on fitment (stamped steel and wood needs heavy clearancing). Too bad the HK91/G3 wood furniture has skyrocketed since his mod. You could get a set for $30.00 now its over $300

Airsoft lower is just as strong and has the proper texture. Check out my posts in this thread from like page 1 to 3

Are there any differences between the DLASK Type 5 muzzle device and Type 6 Flash Hider other than appearance? I am waiting on a CGN member to ship his 9 inch barrel and breechblock to me so I can install either one. Will either the flash hider or muzzle device screw directly into the end of the 9 inch barrel or do I need a specific adaptor for it?

Both Dlask muzzle thingies will bolt on direct on the Dlask short barrel. I had the Type 5 but sold it and went with regular thread protector for the nice and short look.

Has everyone seen the new MP-5 .22 being shipped on October 1st in the US. It’s made by Uramex, I expect that all the parts will be able to fit on the GSG16. Any thoughts?
