What mags are those?

B-wingpilot made a video on how to do this conversion. This idea came from US modders when the GSG522 was being sold

If you get the sanding just right you dont need screws at the bottom of the mag. The gsg bottom plate on the stock mag will need to be filed but can be retained. Lots of work but worth it.

You should only load to 15 - 18 rounds to not dent the brass. There is no way to reduce spring tension like on the stock mags when loading

VERY cool mod.
Lots of detail work to get it done, but it looks amazing

Does anyone have a recommendation on a good collapsible stock for this project, other then a real HK product.

The A3 F stock that I posted on the previous page is a G&G Stock. It uses steel for the backplate with aluminum arms and polymer for the rest. Very high quality

You will need to take it apart and sand the backplate flat at the mating area to the receiver (its a bit of work) or it wont properly mount up.

Real MP5 stocks dont actually work well as the adjustable stock arms are narrower for the stamped steel receiver causing the HK stocks to be pretty loose and sloppy

Sadly wood handgaurd was cut up to try and make wood furniture for the MP5. Any HK wood furniture now is pretty much unobtainium

Hello All,

Looking for an assist with some ideas on attaching a sling to a GSG16. It seems to me that I currently have the Picatinny and MLOK for the attachment options up front and only the Picatinny option on the stock. Has anyone had any success in mounting a two point sling to a stock GSG16 or are there any necessary mods that must be done?

I did a search but could not find anything. If that thread / post exists, I would be very much obliged for a link.

Thank you.

I was worried about the stock as it does not feel super durable. I was not sure that it would hold up with a sling mounted that way.

Anyone have any experience with using the butt stock picatinny rail for a sling?

the GSG stock is pretty tough but definitely flexy. I wouldn't worry about breaking it as the plastic is polymer and not easily subject to cracking
