Even there,some US vendor wont even ship to an importer and i think HKparts.net is one of them.
 
Curious question.
I got my GSG16 yesterday and while playing with it and an empty mag in the gun I noticed that the bolt does not close on the extraction port if the mag is empty but the charging handle is pulled and released.
Once I put in the little snap cap that it came with it would close perfectly normal when the charging handle is released.

Is this normal?

Yes because you don’t want the firing pin to strike on an empty chamber as it can damage the firing pin on a rim fire firearm.

Also since the mag is empty the last round bolt hold open is stopping the bolt from going forward.

Right, Now I remember that. it's been a while since Ive have a semi auto .22.

Second question. When I release the charging handle with an empty mag the handle will move to forward position but does not carry the bolt forward.
Also Normal??

Yes all good. May seem a little clumsy sitting around just cycling it, playing with it etc. But has worked flawlessly for me so far on a couple of 2-300 round range trips.
 
Just got mine, bolted on some parts I had.

Hope to get out this week.

Removed the lower plastic rail, and the side rails, replaced with M-LOK metal side rails.

I like it but wish it had more metal like our STG 44/22, still feels good, gawd I miss the MP5!

How did you remove the side rails? They’re huge, you need gorilla hands.. lol
 
Just unscrewed the plastic picatinny rails and used M-Loks for the new metal rails, prefer the metal.

I use the M-Lok front grip I don't put my hand around the front handguard.

Can’t find em in airsoftdepot dot ca and the other site take (FRAUD ALERT) which I don’t have . Thanks anyways.
 
About 90% of the way done... just need to source a shorter barrel or come up with a longer shroud solution ;)
