i got a spikes warthog lower, using it to build my 7.62x39 project....1) its labelled "muliti-cal" and 2) I think its fitting since it would make a great hog rifle.

(Actually, 314299 really ticks me off some days, because that guy can shoot anything well. And he's friggin modest about it. Jerk. )

I wouldn't call it snobbery either...what I'd call it is not as nice. It's not my cup of tea either but posturing that you're only interested in things that "improve performance" is just silly. I absolutely love designs that improve performance. I also love the artistry and beauty of some things that serve no practical purpose at all! This goes for guns, cars, watches, women, you name it.
I haven't been around CGN very long but I've been around long enough to witness this particular forum slowly turning into a competition as to who can jump on the band wagon the quickest. It's a shame.
As I said, the Jack is not my cup of tea but I think it's cool and if I bump into someone at the range with one, I'd love to check it out whether you're wearing a Tapout shirt or not. I'm not prepared to judge you by your lower or your t-shirt...if you're a douche, I don't care what you're shooting or what you're wearing.
