Hey I’ve flown and briefly lived in your stretch of the Rockies, and they want nothing of any mountains anywhere. Those are some of North America’s best too.

Wow! any true outdoorsman who does not feel a twinge of jealousy is dead already.
The vast experience on these pages is a testament to how much we love the game
and the wonderful creation we can observe and enjoy. Kudos to all who posted the
marvellous pictures of breathtaking beauty as well as the game pics. Eagleye.

Yes Ardent, I did meet Ron, he's a nice guy. I was trying out those 110 gr ttsx in my Kimber MA, that you sent me. Ron was shooting at the range and I got talking to him about my rifle. He was telling me that he was going to get a MA due to a fellow co worker/ guide friend of his by the name of Angus. I told him the bullets I was shooting came from you. It was a bit of a coincidence. Anyhow all these pictures on this thread have inspired me to get in shape, I just got back from my run.

Horses have their place, grew up with em, but much of BC doesn’t suit em. Especially the really goaty parts. In the end, only boots get you there and back on the parts that separate a fellow from success.

It's a nice tent. Light enough to not mind having it if hunting in a group. Still prefer my bivy sack if hunting alone.

Do they usually leave the tie down ropes on the aircraft while flying ?

That’s not a tie down. It’s to grab while pulling up to the dock. Pretty much standard on floatplanes

Yep Bare nailed. Also handy for turning the plane around on the dock to fuel the other side, it’s a handling tagline. Helpful tip if ever helping a floatplane dock don’t grab that line and create a pivot point, you’ll swing the nose of the plane over the dock and get things properly sideways. Walk the wing in gently and forwards to bring it up to the dock parallel.

Next time you're in Whitehorse for a couple of hours let me know. We need to undo those knots, and splice those loops for you. That'll give you another quarter mile an hour.
