Couldn't care less if one wants one, as I've said in every comment of mine, just that they're not suited for hunting. They pick up sticks, snow, and mud with brutal effectiveness in field conditions,
especially crawling through underbrush. Not cool. I have no wish to marginalize any hunter that chooses to use a brake, not what I'm out to do. In niche applications, like the disabled? Sure, makes sense. Long range target shooting, with long prone shooting strings, and the wish to spot hits through the scope? Sure, makes sense, same for .50 BMG because without one there you face physical injury.
But for just a .338 Win Mag, or .375? Naw, my 115lb wife shoots my unbraked .375 H&H, a brake would make it
worse for her due to perceived blast. This has turned into a sh1tfight in a hurry.

Not trying to slander any type of shooters, just point out that a brake isn't a useful device in 99% of hunting situations, something better done without. There's a good chance your PH if you ever made it to Africa would ask you to take the brake off, if possible, or use a loaner unbraked rifle. However, I respect your choice for the bass boat, I caught some bass in Africa too!

NOW we're truly off topic! Who'd of thought I'd be posting a picture of a bass in the .375 thread by the end of this, eh?
