Well, you mumbled something about attempting a 500 yard shot and then following a grizzly into thick cover. Now I know a grizzly is kind of a small target for you so I was wondering what else you might be shooting at, that's all.

Paul i totally disagree to agree with you.
my 375 ruger in stainless and laminated is the only true king of the 375s and only for the reason they re made in left hand .... only for 93 samples ... we re only 93 king owners ....
I feel sorry for you left handers cuz all you get is a crummy Ruger cartridge in a crummy Ruger rifle. ;)

Seriously ..... Those Ruger laminated 375s are a very nice package. Too bad they don't stock the RH models in laminated as well.

a shame you didnt enter the YFGA contest .. your caribou had win everything at least for me ....
First I heard of this contest. Do tell. :)

Behold ..... The true King of the 375s on the perfect rifle platform.

So perfect you are selling it?

My Alaskan is a keeper. I just mounted a Euro 30 1.25-4x with a german # 4and am anxiously awaiting the day when weather and work both eff off long enough for me to get to the range and site in.

I'll bet it wasn't a 375 H&H that took that caribou :D

Oh yeah, If i had the money floating around right now, you and I would have already done business on that rifle. Just because it is now only a former King, does not mean it can no longer be loved.

You'd win that bet.

I have received a few PMs on it, but most are with trades. I don't think the pricing is too high given the price of a new rifle and McMillan and these aren't available anymore.. Time will tell. I can do the payment plan thing if that helps. :)

Im interested to see the howa thumbhole laminate in 375 ruger, if i get my weatherby sold I may have to pick one up. Anyone here have one and got any decent pics or feedback? Definately like to see more of this rifle in a few different manufacturers posted on here.

Could the second payment be testicles, I am pretty sure my wife would remove them if she caught wind of the first payment.:(

x2 ........ Those long, tapered cases have a persistent internet reputation for feeding poorly.

The 300 and 375H&H are among the worst, as well as the 7mm Mauser.

.

Could be I guess but it's not something I've experienced. I've had about four 7x57's, two Winchester feather weights, a Brno and an 08 Brazilian mauser, not problem. Two rifles in 300 H&H and had the loan of my son in laws custom 375 H&H and again never experienced a feeding problem with any.

I forgot to add the ;) after my post. It explains much. :)

its been a few years since Ive been around the gun but I remember the shell getting stuck as it entered the chamber, we tried crimping more to smooth the end of the case but it still did it, *sometimes*. Probably was a simple fix, the Model 70's are generally a good rifle
