The NEW KING is taking off!

If it is anywhere as poor a shooter as the spray and pray mini 14 I tried today, it should be called the "Pew King"!

Was the Mini 14 a bolt action chambered in the .375 Ruger? No? Then it has nothing to do with the NEW KING.:p

Funny thing is the "New King" sure isn't impressing anyone in African hunting circles as of yet. Kinda like the red headed step child when compared to the .375 H&H that the true big game hunters favor.

It's funny that it doesn't impress them since it has almost the same performance as the H&H. Maybe they are just Luddites. Lot's of them crawl out of the woodwork whenever something new is introduced. I can only imagine what the guys used to shooting big bores said when the H&H came out. Probably "I dont' trust anything smaller than .45 caliber":owned:

Besides, I bet most of them have never even shot a NEW KING. ;)

Longevity is a true test of a Cartridge.
The 9.3x62 has been around for a Hundred years.

Oh no! that upstart the .308 is out! Same wiht the .338 WM and 7RM! .270 is a goner! Forget about the .300WM! .223? GONZO! 44 magnum? No way. None of these havebeen around for 100 years.

Metric Cartridges are in, bigger and better than ever before.

I'm sure a few people will buy them for awhile. Then they will see a .375 RUger and realize that the NEW KING is what they should have bought in the first place.

P.S. "thier" is really spelt "their". Just saying.

PS "Garrand" is really spelt "Garand." Just saying.:owned:

That's because they trust the real King. The 375 H&H. Trust is earned.

Please tell us exactly how you came to trust the 9.3x62 and the .375 H&H

What was your personal experiences with these cartridges, in that they"earned your trust"

Have you ever even shot an animal with one of these cartridges?:p

I was trying to pinch you to see if your real. But I changed my mind. Is working for ruger really worth it? Surely you can do better than minimum wage. What happened with McDonald's? Were you doing bad things with the pickles again?

All you can add is insults. Once again you demonstrate your lack of knowledge of rifles, cartridges, and hunting. You keep failing and failing....Over and over.
:slap:

PS: In this context, you would use the abbreviation "you're" rather than "your." Just saying.

Longevity is a true test of a Cartridge. The 9.3x62 has been around for a Hundred years. The ruger is still sucking on a soother. And quite frankly it's not cool, Metric Cartridges are in, bigger and better than ever before.

you really dont know what happens to the 9,3x62 before the second WWII was used mostly in Africa ... then definetly was forgotten and some people started to use it again in mid 50s for hunts in europe mainly and driven ones.
it s still working but even etablished calibers can have their up and down.

most of the users in europe are using it for driven (battues) and that s why you can even find bar semi auto in that caliber.

again this is is a great caliber but not the only one ...

Nor is the 375 ruger. There is no "One" caliber.

I own the 9,3x62 and the 9,3x64 and i don't think the 62 should be compared with the 375 H&H or the Ruger as they are in a different class.
If a 9,3mm can be compared with the 375 ,then it should bethe 9,3x64 as it will be on par with the 375s.
The 9,3x62 shines with short barells 20" and 286gr Bullets. It still drives a 300gr at about 2300f/s and a 190gr Aero-bullet to 3100f/s.Great performance but not in the class of the 375H&H especially with handloads.

All I can add is insults??? And I thought you were the "King" of insults. This seems to be the only way you can defend your point (whatever that is).
Maybe your 375 ruger will become a "quality Cartridge" only time will tell. But right now I have to go because you are boring me to tears.

isn't the 9.3x62 the smallest sized round allowed by many countries in africa for hunting dangerous animals ?

so a person groups all the rifles together suited for a particular purpose and compares them based on their needs and what the law will allow .......

so why shouldn't the 9.3x62 be compared to the various 375's ?

it is no different than comparing all pick up trucks that have the ability to tow at least 10,000 pounds .

Funny coming from the guy that follows me around making comments about pickles. premature extraction and posting pictures of toothless guys asking if they are Supercub and I.
:p

It's already a quality cartridge, but some people don't really understand what a quality hunting cartridge is.....(Hint, just because it's OLD doesn't necessarily make it "quality")

But right now I have to go because you are boring me to tears.

Again, funny to hear from the guy that follows me around CGN all the time.

That is so true. What is also true is no one in Africa has ever heard of the 375 ruger.

Hayya Mods, is this post setting a record?
Did it set a record?
Definately broke all the rules.
Maybe time to put it asleep..............zzzzzzzzzz.

Yes, it has set records for the Hunting and Sporting Arms Forum. Interest in the NEW KING has generated the most posts and most views of any thread in this forum.

X2 put Gatehouse out of his misery. I usually respect his posts but this one has gone way off track.

Probably easier and better to just boot you from this forum, as you seem to be the most determined to get this thread off track.....

don't close this thread .......... eventually another rifle company will come up with a nuclear powered rifle , call it a " 375 " and a new new king will be born and this thread can die of natural causes ........

until then it is half assed entertaining :D
