Not sure what they use now, but they got some when I was still in.

Bit like saying the RAF doesn't use the HK53. True for the most part, but I got issued one for 3 years. They don't use Sig pistols either, except when we did.

General issue and UOR limited issue are two different things.

Here's hoping they achieve a quality reliable firearm with good fit and finish, there are already a few average quality options from other makers. Guess we will have to see where that price shakes out, hopefully they aren't too far off.

Friendly update...

Currently, everything is in place and a game plan has been set. At this time in order to streamline production and efficiently bring the rifle to market we will only be offering one platform.

We appreciate everyone's input but this rifle will only be available in a Non Restricted configuration with a 18.6" barrel.

We will not be going overboard on furniture options as many of you will most likely be utilizing equipment from your current platform.

The rifle will not be available in a skeletonized variant. Each rifle will will be quality tested by PWS and ready to put rounds down range out of the box.
