Ah, people are just excited for another non-restricted semi-auto option. Prototype announced in Sept 2020, machines running making prototypes again in Sept 2021 but still no release date, pics of final product, or recent updates from IRG. There's a lot of pent up angst in our community these last couple of years; disappointment is just causing it to spill over.

PSA has a ton of manufacturing capacity, if anything I think this is actually bullish.

It will be great if they can put the PSA JAKL upper on the NDS 18 lower, that will be something exciting. They can also release R first. The JAKL will be a popular pistol in the US so the first thing out of the gate int he US will be 9" bbl in 300 and 5.56.

And this is actually more possible now. The business risk is also lower to everyone involved, because a NDS18 lower + JAKL upper can easily be released back into the US and sell regardless.
