The NOT politically correct firearm / deer hunting thread. I'm using a TAVOR!

Remember that king fudd (Jim Zumbo) that use to work for Outdoor Life magazine that called down the modern day black rifle/military rifles; terrorist rifle he called them if I remember correctly. Got fired because he was such a jaded toolbag and sent down the road with his tail between his legs.

Got what he deserved. Ignorance is such a sad thing.

We have some higher res photos that haven't found their way to me yet, so just a cell phone shot for now...

Field dressed, they weighed in at around 90-100 pound each...stout little beasts...

My buddy with the Beretta Storm was out for his first time hunting. Wish I had a camera on him with the first boar charged at one of our hunting party. Three fast head shots with the Tavor brought the beast to a skidding stop two feet from his boots. You hear stories about boar charging people, but until you see it for yourself, it's just a story... It was wild, and Andy was very happy to have the Tavor (fast, tight, and light), as opposed to his bolt rifle that he brought as a backup...

A few shots of my 858 in hunting conditions, no kills with her yet...

"Dusan" (Nedelko, 1971-2010) was a good buddy of mine who died in a car accident in February. We hunted this bush together for 7 years, R.I.P. Dusan.:(

Monkeying around a bit, before hitting the bush again, notice the "stealth" tape to keep the dust cover from rattling...:p

The little Czech carbine really shines in conditions like this, (this pic was taken on a bush road:eek:) light and handy in the thick stuff, and tough as nails so no worries about a bit of foul weather. For the nice days, or cruising open timber I'm still partial to my full stock 7x57, or Ruger M77 .350 mag, but the CZ will remain a go to gun for loooong hikes in the gads and "scheisswetter":D

Those guns are uglier. ;)

.

I'll admit I am not taken by the looks of any of them either now if they were in OD Green like my XCR-L then I would have to reconsider....

and if you forgot what a beauty my OD green XCR-L is here is that pic again... :p
