Of all the AR barrels, have you seen any that are not headspaced correctly? And hope for the best.
When closing the bolt on an AR, how do you tell if it’s too loose?
I’d really like to know,as I’ve used the gauges and couldn’t tell.

I’ve experienced a few of those in diff Cal’s.
My point is, you can’t really change your headspace, with gauges, not in an AR .
Maybe tell you if it’s not right, but what are the chances of that?
Was $639, then $695. No need to make up numbers. We have lowered it to $579 after negotiations Monday, and are crediting the diff to our customers. From feedback we have received our customers are happy with the outcome.
since when is 579 "low 500's" ??
I hope you don't do your own taxes
I don't get why people are still complaining about prices.... oh wait it's CGN
No lost customer here, thanks Arms East!
Bob, are you sniffing the nut meg again?.. JK

Hi Guys,
I am thinking of making a upper myself. I presume that I need the following items:
1. Barrel
2. Gas Block
3. Hand Guard
4. Muzzle Device
I have th following tools:
1. Torque Wrench
2. Good Bench Vise
What other tools are required? I believe that I need a barrel reaction rod. It cost about $120. Plus I would also need to buy/rent go/no go gauges to check headspace. This is another $50-60 item.
Would it be more cost effective if I were to go to a gun smith? I am in down town Toronto, where people can buy multiple guns without ever having to account for them.
You guidance is very much appreciated.
Anyone know if the Magpul UBR will work with the entry length receiver extension? I'm assuming I'd have to use the stubby buffer and shorter spring?
UBR comes with its own proprietary tube you can use the standard stag carbine spring and Buffer in it. Easy install.
Ok, there needs to be a little clarification on the understanding of the FRT. Yes these are Non-restricted receiver sets as long as the barrel length is 18.5" or longer. As mentioned in our ad these are only Non restricted if the barrel length is 18.5 or longer. If IRUNGUNS or any other retailer sends out the receiver sets they have to be transferred as restricted. Once the barrel is installed the firearm needs to be verified and the status needs to be changed.
IRUNGUNS will make a release mid next week with directions and a special offering for everyone who has purchased the receiver sets from us.
Stay tuned and have a great weekend.

I'd like to know more about those Wolverine receivers.
I posted a question to the thread - and then the thread vaporized mysteriously.
I bet there are more than a few people who ordered a set without an RPAL....
If IRG handles these as Restricted, I'm cancelling my order.
They better have extremely good deals on 18.5" 308 barrels.
Bait and switch?
