The Stag 10s NR stripped receiver set thread

Maple ridge armory is coming out with 308 barrels this month. Hopefully they come in with a more accurate date

Funny thing I asked them in the winter if they would ever make 308 barrels in DPMS extension in 18.5 or 20 inches and they told me no.
I guess times change... Funny way to run a business

Just got my notification of stock on Faxon pencil 20" from RDSC.

Cant wait to work up a load and see what its capable of.

Thanks for the heads up. I snagged the last one.

I bought the PCF 22' version in 6.5 creedmore for the better trigger at the intro price. Gonna swap the barrel to a pencil faxon in 308 and have it ready to rock at 8.7 lbs with all the goodies. Likely will sell the 6.5 creedmore barrel or buy another upper.

A bomb (Stag 10) is dropped in the marketplace and they are going to fill part of the crater left by that bomb.

Weird...

Some advice, please....
I am looking for buffer tubes and stocks, will any AR15 parts fit or do I need something specific to AR10?
(heavier spring?)

The receiver extension is the same, the buffer and spring are different. I would order a set from Arms East since its reasonably priced.

Are you sure they can get some, they got cut off from the supplier.

Yes. I am doing a build. Iirc they can not ship a Stag rifle. Stag parts are still a go
The STAG 10 rifle with an 18.75" barrel will be a Canadian exclusive. As it is not sold in the US, you will need to acquire it from a Canadian Dealer should you want one, we will not be carrying that rifle.

What actually is happening is very different then what they are saying. People have been calling them out over and over and they keep deleting posts. Last I heard they are buying them from another company. I forget the name. it was posted and touched a nerve because it was removed very quickly. Right now I don't believe they cannot get them direct from stag. They are selling the remaining stock and then buying 3rd party. Just a rumour but I have been hearing it a lot.

Well my order was in for the instock stuff before all the brouhaha started

Arms East signed a exclusive contract with Stag/White Wolf Capital. The "other guys" were buying them from RSR. White Wolf Capital issued a directive to all their US Stag dealers that they aren't suppose to be selling to any 3rd party importers in Canada, other wise it will put their dealership in jeopardy. Basically a breach of contract. It's no different than John at Wolverine. He has a exclusive contract with Daniel Defense. Among many other Canadian distributors. These contract are multi year contracts, were you have to commit to buying x-thousands of dollars per year, sometimes 100's of thousands of dollars, weather you need it or not. You have to commit mass sums of capital toward the product line.
