The Stag 10s NR stripped receiver set thread

Why do everyone got to start causing so much sh!t.
Leave it the Fuc alone, it was given an NR FRT. that’s it.Leave it be.
Always got to be someone to try and Fuc it up.

Oh oh, is this going to bite us with the RCMP lab?

why would it?

people are either dumb or just being trolls....

the rcmp firearms lab deemed it non restricted..... what's more to discuss?
some people act like somehow this rifle "slipped thru the NR cracks". Seriously? How is that even possible?

I suggest some of the gun owners around here grow the phuck up and lose the little girlie panties and stop worrying about it. The RCMP deemed it non restricted..... now BUY ONE and move along LOL

Because the RCMP never go from restricted to non restricted. So the Larue wouldn’t change classification. Now that the Stag and Laure could fit, they would change the classification of the Stag.

Ya and the RCMP have never changed a rifle’s classification...

I asked a simple question Francis relax.
I've had two on order since they were listed.

But will it fire? Cause if it doesn't fire it doesn't matter. That's their whole thing even if fires just one round attached by duct tape its restricted. If it doesn't fire it shouldn't matter.

Certain people need to calm down. The stories/rumours about BCL 102 being based on the AR102 and the Stag 10 proprietary pin sizes being the reason for these rifles NR classification is BS - for example you can look at photos of a genuine 102 and see that this is the case. It's pretty clear that the BCL 102 has more in common with modern day Armalite/DPMS pattern guns than it does with the original AR10/102. The argument that these rifles are NR is more than likely based on the fact that the AR10 predates the AR15, so, like a few posters have mentioned, there is no way that slapping another upper on is going to affect things. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we see NR Armalite and DPMS (and others) rifles in the near future, as some people have alluded to already.

an ar15 accepts prohibitted M16 full auto components ... does it make your ar15 prohibitted?
all kinds of rifles with 5 round mags accept 10 round pistol mags and +10 round bolt action rifle mags....... but it doesn't change your rifle's classification now does it?
Unless the "unregulated" upper you are putting on your "rcmp firearms lab certified non restricted" has a barrel length under the non restricted length you have zero to concern yourself with.

I could crank up my milling machine right now and carve myself out a one off upper for my stag-10 ...... and what does that mean? nothing..... it's just another part right? What matters is the barrel length I attach to it. It's that simple. Read the firearms act.
