The start of something AWESOME.....now assembled (pics in post 50)

No. Not as easy as Rem action for stocks, will require special inletting.

I am having it put into one of Henry Remple's stocks.

I imagine, if he hasn't already done a stock for this action, that he will be able to do them afterwards much easier.

I met a guy at the gun show this weekend that had a Mcmillan F-Class stock for sale. It was inletted for the same PGW action as yours. He was actually looking to sell the stock or find a PGW action to put in it.

Not without breaking the bank or the weight requirements. LOL

Having to switch to front rest for this one rather than using my Remple bipod.

A lot of the US shooters are using 32" barrels but it would not fit in my case if I went that long.

Buy a new case :)

I drilled 2 inch holes in the shelf in my safe, and had to get a new case for transport for my 31 inch bbl.

I will be picking up my Co-Axial rest in 2 weeks time when I head down to the US. Hoping the rifle is ready around the same time so I can get onto the load dev.

So excited!!!!!!!!! :D

I love new toys. Haha

Rich,

what rest did you get? Seb classic or NEO or something else?

I bought Ron H's co-ax.

Tried for a SEB Classic but no one was selling and there is a 10 month wait time for new ones.

Almost had Jefferson convinced to sell me his but I guess my sales tactics need some polishing. LOL.

I can't help being nosy, what is it, a Farley? A Shadetree top on a standard bottom half?

I may have a SEB classic for sale around the end of the year. ;)

You didn't use the time honoured technique of throwing money at him until he couldn't say "No" anymore?

Farley large pan head on custom aluminum base.

Around 17# IIRC.

He has used it for the past few years with obviously decent success so it can't be all that bad.

First time I shot with him he was using it and I tried to get him to sell it to me then. LOL

Yours better come at a discount.......I saw what you did to it last year. ;)

Not a chance. I just spent a pile of $ to have Henry R. give it an overhaul and replace all the plastic knobs with custom aluminium ones.

He also modified the leg bolts by adding huge aluminium knobs to the tops. Much better to pound on with my mallet now.:D

All other teams signed up for the WCFCC can forfeit now by sending your teams entry fees to me and I will divy up between the other PGW Team members.
Hmmm...do I hear the sound of money coming my way? Sounds like a little side bet should be made. Just saying, you know.

I'm pretty sure our team could muster up a bottle of something as a "side bet" of course when we win we will share with the losing team/s. :D

All parts are at Henry Remple's for assembly.

I would have used Mick McPhee (as I usually do) but it made more logistical sense to go with Henry since it was all going into one of his stocks and keep it down to one or mailing costs rather than 3 or 4.
