The T97 Thread!

Everything except ordered and paid for now. Except a shorter mag that I’m having difficulty finding due to the limited amount of mags that this seems to like. As usual I’m always interested in recommendations. Here’s the build list...

The one potential issue that I see is how you choose to shoot. If you mount them on the upper, your rifle will sit a lot lower than your setup in your accuracy video. I guess, in theory, mounting them up high would allow the rifle to “hang” freely. Where as the on the lower it might cause something to press up into/against the barrel. But that likely isn’t an issue.

I was thinking like a 10" side mounted would be close to the same height as a 8" on the lower.
 
It’s here!!!!!

Unfortunately I have already some how jammed the gun up. Pulled back the bolt handle and it’s cocked but the trigger doesn’t release the hammer. I squeeze and the trigger depresses (safety is not on) but nothing happens. Not sure if it’s related but the ejection port is also open and I can’t see the cover. Edit: got it going and it doesn’t seem to be doing it anymore.

I have to go to the dentist then head out of town for the weekend so I don’t get to play the old girl right now.
 
Anyone tried to replace the rear main takedown pin on either gen1 or gen2 (assume they are the same). I see there is a hole that may be I can press to release the pin but I am not sure what's behind it? Is it a spring + detent or just a spring? If someone tried that pls let me know

Replace with what? It's not the same size as an AR pin.

The hole allows you to push on the detent / spring but doesn't work great for taking it out.
 
So I've been stocking up on STANAG mags for various rifles, but right now only the factory mag the T97 came with fits properly into it. Not interested in filing anything down, or making any modifications to my mags and/or T97 mag well.

Can someone tell me which aluminum mags work best in the T97? Preferably from a site sponsor. I'm going to shell out for a bunch.
 
Seems different from a rifle to the other. I can tell you I had to do work with my benchvise on my c-product lar mags, their 5/30 works great from Factory tho.
