The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

Two very accurate loads. Well, at least in my guns...
Left .357 mag Hornady 125gr FP XTP bullet, 9gr of VV N340, Winchester brass. I use this load in my Henry Big Boy lever action.
Right 9mm Zero 125gr JHP, 3.8gr of VV N320, PMC brass. I use this load in my M&P 9mm full size pistol. Low recoil, very clean burning.

I'm just starting a load for this one. Still in the testing phase.
Ares colored bullets. This is a 9mm 125gr RN. The polymer coating is supposed to minimize fouling. Some guys at the range rave about how clean these bullets leave your barrel. We'll see!
I noticed a ring from my seater. I tried both my Hornady and RCBS RN seater plugs. They both leave a little ring. Doesn't look too serious.

Loaded 50 25-06s for my sons friend. I sold him a Steyr Pro Hunter awhile back along with the dies, brass, factory ammo and everything else I had for it. The cool thing is that even with Remington brass and standard Redding FL dies it was rare to get runout of more than a smidge over .001. I know guys that would slit throats to get that with custom rifles and the best of everything on the bench.

218 rounds of .44mag light range load. Would have done more but I've run out of 240gr Campro's. Could have sworn there was another box. So switched everything over for some 9mm tomorrow night.

What are you doing for a light load under the 240 campro? I want to put some together so my wife can shoot once in a while.
Thanks

21.5 grains of IMR4227 with an S&B primer. 0.5gr under the published starting load. I had been using CCI 300's but ran out and Ammosupply have the S&B's for $35/1000.

Bought a new rifle for hunting season. It was late and I had a bunch of Winchester Silvertips I wanted to use up. Sighted the rifle. Took it out, fired at a big doe 100yds away. Missed her completely. Took rifle back to range. Zeroed it (it was 4"low @25yds). Moved to 100yd bench. I was now 6" right but bottomed out and unable to adjust left.
Suspected culprit would be the Elite 3200 I bought at a gun show. The reason I usually never buy used equipment. $220 lesson learned. Put a new Bushnell Trophy scope on it last week. Loaded work-up rounds last night. Maybe Saturday will see a result.
BTW, switched rifles (Remington 799 in x39mm, PRVI ammo) and area (heavy poplar woods). 10pt (eastern score) white tail buck. Single shot, 52yds. Buck went 23 yds, basically a huge jump, two stumbles. No lungs. Completely severed aorta, broken shoulder.
However, like to get some time on the new rifle. Heading to Suffield on the 4th and still haven't decided on rifle. Probably wind up with the Ruger M-77. Now that I got rid of the CoreLokts and replaced with Interlocks, I am confident it will knock down an elk.

What charge of cfe223 and what gun are you shooting them from? i've found 25.5gr seems to work pretty darn good in my 10.5" barrel NEA.

I found 26.4gr worked best for me out of an 11.5" Franken AR and my 20" Eagle Arms AR.

I also just finished 50 rounds of .303 Brit with Hornady 174gr RN Interlocks and a light 37.0gr of IMR4320.

Auggie D.

I loaded up six rounds of 6.5x284 today. 48.3gr of h4350, fed 210 primers and virgin lapua brass with 140 Bergers seated 12thou into the lands. I had a couple pounds of tannerite and some pumpkins that needed to be turned into fertilizer. I actually didn't end up shooting the 6.5-284 and opted to use my 6.5x47 with some 130 vld hunters that I had loaded previously for wolf season. The pumpkins didn't notice the difference though.
