The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

I cast and loaded a handful of 595gr gas-checked spire points for testing in my .500 Jeffery. Velocity should be in the 1950fps range.

Had my 3 year old daughter and 5 year old son help me load up some 170 gr 30-30 and 45-70 last night, about 30 rounds total.

They love pulling the lever, just have to watch my fingers when getting the bullet started in the press!

New test loads for my new 243 A-Bolt, 95 grainers...and my sons 308 A-Bolt....165 grainers. 40 rounds for each caliber....10 different loads...they'll serve as a break in for each gun...and some good load data to boot !!

Just finished off a batch of 500 .357 mag with plated copper 158 gr flat point bullets. First time i'm trying these bullets. Propelled by an ancient lot of 4227 sold by XL powders. Looking to get 1500 fps from my Rossi carbine. Should be deadly on tin cans.

Finally finished my 45ACP reloading project!

After extensive load development for my JR Carbine, I went with 3 different loads/bullet weights. 185 grain XTP, 200 grain XTP, and 230 grain Hornady XTP's. Took a couple of days, but it is now finished. All loaded on a Rcbs Rock Chucker single stage press. Thank god for the Rcbs automatic powder dispenser!

First batch of reloads ever tonight.
Started with 20 for testing.
9mm, Berry 124gn TMJ round nose, 4.0gn Titegroup, CCI small pistol primers.
Woooohooooooo.

That must be soooo satisfying!!!

308 Win

.311 123gr surplus - 16
.311 123gr hornady sst - 16
.308 165gr hornady spire - 80

All with 4064, varying loads.

All with the trusty Lyman 310 hand reloader.

Ready for some ladder testing.

Load testing some 165 accubonds in my 30-06 M70 Winchester EW, propelled by IMR 4895. 21 round, 3 each at half grain increments. Not the best or fastest choice of powder but I usually have it on hand and it should be good for most weather.

Finished up 50 45-70 with Lee 480gr over 65gr of ffg goex and a 0.060 cork wad. Ran low on good bullets and had to make the last 6 with bullets that had voids in the base as fouling rounds.

Starting cleaning about 800 cases of my father's bpcr so I can start trying to figure out what he was loading when he died. No notes to go from....

Another 150 rounds of .45 Colt for this summers CAS fun. Almost out of the empties I have.
I want to get them all loaded so I'm not doing it in the summer when I could be shooting!

I churned out 41 loads for my .470 NE..........trying reduced loads with some 325 and 400 gn jacketed pistol bullets. See what the weather brings tomorrow, might give 'em the big trial........
