The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

After attending the Remembrance Day ceremony yesterday morning and seeing the young cadets with their Lee Enfields, I got home and loaded up some 303 British for the SMLE. Put together 50 rounds and boxed 'em up. Makes me wish CamPro didn't discontinue their 303 projectiles...

I recently came into possession of a S&W Model 10 that had been converted to fire 32 S&W Long cartridges for ISU competitions so I just finished reloading my first batch of 32 S&W Long wadcutter rounds. 1.8 grains of Bullseye pushing 100 gr. 32 wadcutter. At almost 3900 rounds per pound of powder that's economical shooting.

You want cheap, way back when I would reload 25 auto.
Mind you these days, try to find 25 auto ammo.

Hi Dimp,
Nice post.
Where are you getting the .303 boxes?
Thanks.

Idle hands and crappy Winters :p
Acquiring bags of brass without boxes, having a keen interest in firearms history, and needing a way to store reloads led me to this. I made a thread here about it in the DIY section of the site (here: https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/2103526-Homemade-Ammo-Boxes ). So far I've made and used boxes for 303 British, 6.5 Carcano, and 30-30. Once I get my k98 fixed and start reloading for it you'll soon see 8mm Mauser boxes too

45ACP with my self appointed ammo inspector cat named socks approves.

Some new testing loads for the bench next week.

Ladder test of 10 rounds for the 9.3x62
PPU brass and 286 grain soft points over H4895 and 210m primers

Few 7mm mag tests that needs to be chrono 160 ballistic tips over H4831sc. Hoping they will match similar to Accubonds

Finally a run for the 6.5x55 Sako carbine. Had a promising node from a previous ladder test with some lapua brass H4895 and 140 ballistic tips

6 rounds there at just over 3/4”

Loaded up some more rounds for my Tikka CTR for long range. Maybe I spend too much time on the internet and have too much idle time in the Winter. But, regardless, I probably won't be able to hit my target at any distance because I'll be giggling too much

Lol. Did you make the label? You could sell those.

^^^hilarious.

Made them up myself on Photoshop. I had bought little boxes to try to recreate "semi-original looking" boxes for 8mm Mauser. Well the gun is at the smith getting fixed, so I haven't created a loading for it yet. Took 5 of the little boxes and coloured them black and designed the label to mostly fit. Check out this other thread in the DIY section of CGN for some of my other reloading creations. It's worth it to see the guys at the range (or when I go with guys from work into the woods to shoot out further) and they inevitably check out the rifle and ask "What are you shooting through that?" and I present Doge Ammo.
"Careful" I say, "This will shoot TO THE MOON!"

well I've been slacking

Last night loaded up 25 rounds of 577-450 for my Martinis then I sat and drank beer in my shop.

its a bit of a process, huge case, not a lot of powder so there is an added step of adding filler.
