The "What Have You Reloaded Today" thread

Wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of that. Just a question, is it my imagination or do some of your primers have indentations in them? What would cause that?
It pretty much mimics my 375 h&h, same load in the h&h gets me 2625 fps iirc.

The loads in the green box are from many years ago, I’m not sure what caused the dimples in the loaded primers. There are some spent primers in the box there too.

I notice the same as Plinker mentioned, my hand priming tool will sometimes leave a very slight dimple.

when you can't sleep, you make ammo at 2am :D

Loaded 50 rounds of 6.5 Creedmoor for my Ruger RPR with 26" IBI barrel, 143eldx with 43.4grs Staball 6.5 in Hornady Brass 2805 fps average.

Today was 400 rounds of 9mm. That was as much as my mangled elbow could handle. I’ll shoot all of that tomorrow.

Also loaded a ladder/OCW set of 3x 10 powder charges for my .223. Trying D4064 from 24.5 to 25.4 grains with 69gr SMK.

I saw some great 5-round groups under 1/2” at varying lower charge levels. Thought I’d look at higher velocities. My test is maxing out at just shy of a compressed load. Curious if pressure signs will show up first.

Made another 400 rounds of 9mm because I shot it all on Friday. I’ll be shooting 500-ish a week for the next month, then ramping it up to 800+ a week.

Having .223 fun too. My previous 3-shot group OCW test found promise at 25.0 grains.

Combine that with a previous nice baby group at 23.6, and splitting the difference to an unseen 24.3 grain charge, I’m hoping there is such a thing as barrel timing and ‘nodes’. 🤣

To make it more fun, I loaded some at the anti-node of 24.7 grains. That looked like poop. 😆

I’ll be shooting many 5-shot groups at three different good loads, and one expected crappy load to see if this is really a thing. 🍻

Yes with no published data I’m being carefulish ;)

Now working on my little 50pc batch of Hornady 22 ARC that must be on firing 7 or 8. I annealed them, resized and they're in the tumbler. Next will be mandrel the necks and chamfer case mouth, prime with CCI450 and fill up with N550 & 88gr ELDm that always shoots wonderful

Reloaded 9mm: 500 match and almost 300 practice, until the primer shuttle spring in my press decided to break. Stupid thing.

Am loading 7.62x39 with Hornady Sst's today.
Have a buddy that took a deer last year with one I made him and loves them. "Dropped right where he was standing". 50yrds approx 2300ft/sec.
These will be around 2450ft/sec.
Just ordered a Burstfire induction annealer too.
Have never annealed so looking forward to it and hopefully seeing benefits.
