The worse rifle you ever owned

From this thread I learned:

-Anything with the name "Ruger" on it sucks
-AR7s are jam-o-matics
-Norinco products have questionable quality
-Mossberg should only make shotguns
-Remington should not make guns that do not use a pump action
-Lee-enfields are craptaticular
-Winchester should stop making Model 70s
-Sako had some quality control issues
-Coey 64s are not missed
-Marlin should work on their .22s

Thanks CGN for this info!:dancingbanana::dancingbanana::dancingbanana:

That's what you "get" ;) , for not "drilling down" into individual forums and other threads....:D

seems like any h&r i have owned and the new englands were all peice of $hit.
when i could get them to fire they all kicked like hell and didnt shoot very well.

Naw I knew most of this stuff before I just wanted to make a TL: DR version. :D

I STRONGLY disagree! I LOVE my marlin 981T. One of the most fun and accurate rifles I own. NEVER had a jam or misfeed after a couple thousand rounds. Great gun, if you ask me!

I own a 980 as well, very awesome gun except the trigger is very heavy.

I have to say, norinco 1911 shoots sideways out of the box.
Also 870s, shells randomly jams in the chamber when you needed the second shot.
Warranty is good, but i rather not having to do that.
Ended up with benelli's, Guns = 80% of the times you get what you paid for.

Post 64, Model 70 Winchester Westerner in 300 Win Mag, 6.5lbs scoped, 3" groups with any load, and kicked like a 378 Weatherby,,,,sold sold sold sold with a warning and sold cheap

Model 742 Woodsmaster in a 30.06. Jammed on the second shot, and just kept jamming. Had it long enough to get the transfer papers in the mail and traded in for a Browning A-Bolt

"Henry AR7 "survival rifle". The friggin' thing didn't even survive the first box of 50 rounds"

I have to dissagree, I own one of these and considering what it is it is wonderfully accurate and just plain fun to shoot

I have two worsts. The first was a Tikka t3 in 270 wsm that decided it was going to rust so bad in the two weeks that I owned it the guy at the gun shop figured I was doing weathering experiments on it. The next was a Winchester super shadow in 223 wssm that refused to feed from the mag. I returned it to the same shop owner (who I had come to know much better at this point) and he gave me another off the shelf. It would feed the first and third round, it went back. I then took a 223 wssm coyote hoping that the higher end model would be better. It was the same first and third feed but a heck of a shooter. I gave up on the 223 wssm after this.

A Squires Bingham 22 autoloader, don't recall the model, would have been kinda cool when out of the blue it would go full auto, except for the crap flying in your face from, how it managed to empty a 20 rnd mag in full auto numerous times without malfunction I'll never know as when operating in semi auto as it should it was incapable of functioning for more than 3 or 4 rnds at best without a falfunction. Many hrs spent by a few guys trying to repair. Finally grew to hate it enough it got the chopsaw.

Browning takedown 22lr was a beautfull looking gun but i could not get the thing to stop jamming. I took it to two differnt gunsmiths and tried every type of ammo that I could find and just could not get it to stop jamming.

Mini 14. Damm they suck and the price...

It groups like a shot gun and isn't got for anything but small game.
Maybe the target model isn't so bad but it weighs a ton. Give me a bolt action rifle, a low powered fixed scope and some good bino's. That's all you'll ever need./QUOTE

f:P:
Both my Mini-14's have never let me down and there are MANY dead coyotes that can attest to that. Ever heard of anyone shooting a coyote at the range with their AR??
