Cabelas is a bit of a gong show I've been trying to buy the same ammo online since April 19th and they still can't tell me why my order is stuck..

Excuses are new inventory system, warehouse in Calgary service reps in Winnipeg they don't talk, very busy, .. oh and supervisors go home at 4:00 each day M-F with no escalation process :(

YOU GOT THAT RIGHT
Holy gong show I have ordered ammo 3 times and had a mistake on my order every time.
Latest order Instead of the 2 box's of Federal 525 I recieved 1 and a box of Challanger target load 12 guage shot gun shells WTF!!The time before I only got half my order of M22's
This latest order they also charged me for free shipping.I finally got a hold of a supervisor and basically was told that everyone working in the Calgary warehouse is a MORON.She refunded my shipping charge gave me a paultry $20 GC and is expediting the missing federal 525. 3 strikes and your out I have plenty of ammo and will not be needing cabelas anytime soon other than redeeming said GC
Yes they are that bad.

Same experience here. Awful service, very poor communication (to say the least), the fellows that answer the phones at customer service are simply incompetent and far from being "customer oriented".

I would not recommend this (on-line) store to anyone and would wait a year or so before placing another order.

In my opinion, waste of time and lots of frustration since this on-line store seems to be in a total mess. If that's your thing... go for it.

Sorry folks, off topic but.. I tried to order online entered free shipping code and the site crashed. So ordered on phone, they took all my information down wrong pal # and credit card #. Got that sorted out and then charged me shipping, many phone calls later and finally sorted it out. Pain in the a$$ !!!

Cabelas is always great for me. Except for Wes. He's grumpy and doesn't really care much to help anyone.

I messed up in the 99shipdree code on both my recent orders. I called in with my order number and they took the shipping cost off right then and there.

Interesting to note that they, cabelas, have double charged my credit card and its 4+ days later and my order hasn't shipped yet haha. Oh well... Ya live ya learn, card will be refunded, and still got a decent quality ammo for a somewhat decent price. Well... that is if it get here!

Know what's really good about this shortage of ammo? If it keeps up for much longer, suppliers here will start bringing it in from the European Union. They know how to make good ammo. It's better for us anyway to not be so dependent on the states.

Bass Pro brings in Eley.

$15 for 50.

Target shooting sports in Toronto has it all! Eley,Lapua and Federal target ammo at not much more than some of the retailer's are selling regular ammo for. I got 2 cases of Lapua std+ and a case of federal, stuff shoots great.

You shipped 3 flats from Toronto to NS? Man, things must be desperate out there!

Happy shooting.

Island Outfitters in Victoria still continue to have near-fully stocked shelves of Golden Bullet, Thunderbolts, AE, and a few more. All around $36-40 per brick of 500/525. Cdn Tire is always out of everything and higher priced than that. I have never had to go far for .22lr.
CCI is like Sasquatch. Everyone's talking about it but there's never any proof.

Island outfitters is currently having an anniversary sale til sunday.

Yesterday, no 22LR, Mag, or .17. Today, about a dozen 50 packs of Wildcat and the same in 100 packs of some Win. brand .22's. At CTC.

It is that bad... I was all out and had to pay $39.99 for a box of 333 golden pieces of crap. Bucket of bullets are $99.99 and Bricks of 500/525 are $60 +.

I might have to shoot more 308... be cheaper

Wow I'm gonna stock up while I'm in Ontario before the big move to NS... I haven't found anything good about shooting in this province yet
