This .22LR shortage is starting to piss me off.

That cheap ass federal target ammo didn't fit in any in my mags. Steel lips mags. It shot fine. If put into the barrel with my fingers.

I can find lots of .22lr .. .22wmr is what I can't find. Lucky I got last 3 boxes (only 150 rnds) a store had. I called 7 places prior & checked most sponsors websites.

Saw a bucket at the Renfrew gun show. They wanted $110. I left it there, but it didn't last long. More is showing up locally to me.

there was a sign that said limit of one bulk box or 2 boxes of 100 per customer. But when I asked about it, he said if I want more he will sell it to me, he didnt care. I went again this morning to pick up some 17hmr (i left without ammo cuz i did not get any help at all), there were tons of boxes of the 300 cci mini mag with the gator guy on it, and lots of winchester 222 and 333.

i'm down to one box of the winny 555 bulk. surprisingly my .22 pistol cycles the stuff. after that all i got is remy yellow jackets for $70 a brick :( i found a half sleeve of mini mags in my tool box the other day and really hoping to have more available one of these days. will probably shoot the rest of the 555 box over the next few days but i'll be checking online after that. what's the word on best deal for .22 online? really missing the days of $20 blazer bricks!

I've been adding to my stash since January 2014, I think I have picked up 15000 rounds over the past year. It may seem like alot of ammo to many, but a day out for gophers can consume over 1000 rounds if not more so I will continue to buy what I can find when and where I find it.

The days of cheap .22 shells I think are gone, I've been paying $40 a brick for lately and I dont see that as being unreasonable given the limited selection out there.

P&D has had stock for the past several weeks, various brands and various prices, they still had ammo when I was there last Friday if anyone is searching.
I have been watching stock levels at Canadian Tire stores online, the online inventory systems are pretty accurate, 16 bricks of Thunderbolts came in last Monday to the store in St. Albert, I was there Tuesday to buy 10 of them, they had not even gotten them out onto the floor yet.

My current stash, just to upset those that are down to their last 50 rounds. - http://i1301.photobucket.com/albums/ag118/buckyshot/Misc Gun Pics/22stash_zpsoc4nsj1m.jpg

The Walmart in my town just had wildcats on for 15 bucks a brick, (clearance) regularly 23.99, they were sold out of course so no 22s for me. Anyone get in on that deal?

I seen the Bucket O Bullets at Wolverine Gun and Tackle in Red Deer at $90. They had quite a few when I was in but we paid $75 a year ago in Calgary, so I couldn't justify it since I'm still sitting on several thousand rounds. Guess time will tell if I was silly or not.

Also, my 10/22 has had no issues with anything I've put in it. I did determine that it was jamming because I was using the BC mags as a "bipod"... silly me!
