Build a tikka veil or buy a rogue? Anyone have experience with fierce firearms?
If you buy a Tikka Veil it’s basically $2000 unless you pick up and used one, the stock is plastic so if you want to change that to a Carbon Fiber stock it’s pretty much $1000 or more, so now your at 3G, change the trigger spring, maybe bottom metal, myself I don’t really mind the polymer ones but to each their own.
If you go Tikka buy a Roughtech, $500 cheaper than the veil, comes with a brake as well, change the trigger spring and the stock and your good to go, if you want a CF barrel that’s another $1400 for an aftermarket one.
Buy a Carbon Rogue and they are $3400 tax included, they come with an excellent CF stock, two lug push feed action, Bix and Andy Trigger, factory muzzle brake, their CF barrel which is a bit hit and miss, most shoot well some don’t so if you buy one, call Omer at Precision Optics tell him your desired cartridge and have him test fire for accuracy and go from there.
That’s a pretty good components list for the money, and I’m not advocating for a Fierce Rifle just pointing out the facts.
As far as Fierce Rogue Rifle I really just like the Rogue stock, very much like a Gunwerks Clymer with a more traditional grip and more room between the trigger guard and your fingers
