You are right, the pin don't hold the extractor.

I tried to remove it like in the video but its not exactly the same thing.
I'm sure the extractor will come out the same way but you have much more room for working the plunger on a 10/22.

I will need to grind the tips of a pair of a small pliers so they fit into the hole.
I'm sure the dirt in there don't help.
And its harder because we don't know the exact shape of the extractor.

OK, I took my extractor out again, and took pics, so we can all have nice clean extractors! :redface:

Actually, mine was dirty again, or still, so it was good to give it another cleaning.

I will post the pics in a new thread so it doesn't get lost in here....
 
Mine has a hole in the receiver for a bolt stop screw. Anyone else have this and the screw? Can you tell me the size of the screw? Would like to have a bolt stop.

The allan wrench is a 2.0 mm, the thread gauge metric 0.5 is very close. This is for the screw at the rear of the receiver (M70), not the top.

 
I have 2 different length rear guard screws. The M77 is shorter and secures to the silver bushing/ adapter at the rear of the trigger housing.
The M70 goes into the receiver and can be seen behind the bolt.

I think I got an M70 from what you said. It goes into the receiver and if the lenght is too long it will catch in the bolt way.
 
Took mine out for the first time last night to small bore night. Once i got the sights figured out, it is plainly obvious that gun shoots better then I do. With good ammo it was pure magic. What a gem.

Good stuff! As long as you have half decent eyes, these things will shoot where you want.
The arrows on the dials point to "Up" on the top, and "Right" on the side in relation to POI, just like dialing in a scope...in case that helps anyone else out.
When I got my first Swiss Products diopter for my K31, the printer had done the little stickers in reverse by mistake... Up was down and right was left, should have seen me scratching my head trying to zero them that day....
