Transfer Times

It’s fairness I think, and I kinda of appreciate it. Even though I have to wait, at least I’m not tying up someone that could be doing earlier transfers.

Send them an email to ask why other people have had batch approvals but not you... can't hurt.
 
This must be causing real problems for criminals, having to wait so long to buy and sell guns...

... oh wait, they aren't affected at all.
 
I sold a handgun to an Alberta resident in August (from Ontario) They were having trouble getting through to CFO. I called in as the seller today to the Alberta CFO and they approved the transfer for the buyer on my behalf. They had no problem with it. Ontario needs to do better.

Called a few times this morning while waiting for a lock out at work, always got the sorry we cant take your call. Then Tried once more at around noon and got through after 20 or mins on hold, to a very helpful and lovely lady! She managed to get my early September 60293xx approved. Asked about my 60462xx from Ontario and she said they couldn’t do anything for it that’s Ontario’s problem lol!

She said they hired a bunch more people but waiting for security checks and stuff, and they’re working from
Home on overtime. So hopefully it should speed things up sooner or later, called the BC CFO.
 
Who approves what? I have 2 pending transfers I bought online from a retailer.

ONT store -> BC resident.

It would be nice to know who I’m waiting for.
 
Giving a shout out to the great folks at the RCMP. Seller called today for the transfer and got right through. I called as the buyer and got into the queue after the second attempt! Half an hour on hold and it was off to the Ontario CFO.

That is some kinda service. Well done Miramichi.

Lines have cleared up because no more pistols to sell or buy lol. For future reference you can conference the other party on to the same call!
