Holy crap! What is with the recent trend towards imitating Looky-speak? One Looky is a unique anomaly; you can be reading along through a thread, skimming as fast as possible, and then you suddenly hit a Looky post. Bam! It's like you just ran headlong into a pool of glue; you either slow down to a crawl to decipher it, or you skip it and move on. Either way, it's not the end of the world.

But lately, it's as if a zombie virus is spreading...everywhere you look, there's another Looky-style blast of gibberish. Post after post after post...there's no safe haven anymore. Now the latest casualty, my fellow union thug, has turned...

This is a great thread...let's not turn it into the latest episode of "The Babbling Dead"...

Douglas...what happened to the giraffe mount? Is that a rug, or a pedestal, or...?

That big schnozz is my moose.......can't you see? But his detachable antlers are at that point still detached

jjohn......don't have them back from the taxi yet but they will be 2 floor standing head/neck mounts sort of an unconventional pedestal mount and then both back skins as rugs.

We got hippie cows on Haida Gwaii
I would get a head mounted there pretty sketchy and not that easy to hunt as you would think
Hippie cows can gumboot it pretty fast wen spooked way smarter then deer and moose

Well guys, there just isn't anything left to photograph or say about it. It's been a lifetime getting to here, but I'm happy with it. I'll post pics as I get the rest of my mounts here and up, and thank you all for the compliments and comments.
Now you guys have to come and see it for real..........pics never do full justice.

Always looking for good gun and hunting conversation......not a lot around the neighborhood...........

Sorry Rob, no ILS to the dock here.........you're gonna have to get a map and VFR it..........You DO remember maps don't ya?..............Most young guys nowadays just GPS it but I like maps..........

Same here. For me, I 'think' it has something to do with ;) being from the pre metric era :p . Keeping that thought in mind, the 'chore' for my Granddaughters on their next visit is to :redface: 'try' and bring Poppa up to speed on his cell phone.

Maybe get the grand daughter to give some computer info too. That's what I do!
