Trudeau and Blair BAN 12 Gauge and 10 Gauge SHOTGUNS!

This is misinformation but worst absolute case if the retards made this stick is a drop of epoxy in the threads and it's now fixed and permanent

By legal definition where does the bore end and the muzzle start? one could argue the end of the barrel is in fact not defined as the bore, but defined as the firearms muzzle. The OIC does not mention a ban on a 20mm or larger muzzle diameter.

Bore is the interior of the barrel of a firearm vs. the muzzle is the front end of barrel from which the projectile will exit.

It's not us you will have to convince, it's a judge who likely will have no knowledge of firearms.

So if you were to weld something conical on the end that had a diameter I’d say 3” it would be prohibited? Like Elmer Fudds horn gun?

By definition the Bore is the deepest or widest part of the interior of the barrel of a firearm. Therefore this story probably holds legal water when it comes to the new prohibition. Bull shyt, but I wouldn’t want to be the first to have to fight this in court. We need to stick together and get this stupidity repealed.

Muzzle devices whether permanently fixed or not, do not count towards bore dimensions. That is a well established standard.

A common propane blowtorch and about 1 minute of heat will render said epoxy entirely NON-permanent.

As we all know, the issue has nothing do do with exact technical definitions or commonly understood terms in the art. It's entirely based upon the legal interpretation thereof, which may or may not bear resemblance to the same. Don't think for a second that because you consider a particular interpretation to be unreasonable that there aren't more than a few judges who are going to disagree with you. Guess who's opinion is the one that counts?

12 gauge without chokes are well over 20mm. My 10 gauge is fixed chokes so I’m using it this year. Yay liberals more money out of my pocket

Any idea how many shotguns will be affected by this? The number of firearms affected in terms of actual physical shotguns in Canada is going to be astronomical.

I am sure this was just an oversite and will be corrected over time , but how much time ?
In the meantime I wonder if it will be enforced my the RCMP, OPP, LOCAL POLICE , CCONSERVATION OFFICERS, FIREARMS OFFICE OF ONTARIO.
BUT AS OF NOW WE SHOULD ALL REGISTER OUR PROHIBITED FIREARMS NOW AND OVERLOAD THEIR SWSTEM
