Tube Fed Semi Auto Rimfires?

x4 on love for the Win. M74.

Have a couple, perfectly reliable with CCI Subsonic ammo. It is said that the firing pins are fragile, but I haven't found that to be an issue. One even has the bolt mounted peep sight.

The vast majority of my .22s are at least 50 years old. And more closer to 60. They are generally in excellent condition all around and function 100%. I wouldn't hesitate on picking up a 60-year old rifle in good condition.

+1. Most of my rifles in general (not just rimfire) are many decades old and work very well. The saying 'they don't make them like they used to' is very applicable to guns.

I love the value oriented semi auto rimfires.
Only it seems that if you get any of the relatively cheaper .22 semis, the cost of four or five magazines might well be more than the price of the rifle.

I once had a Marlin 60, and now am seriously thinking of getting another but good luck with that given what ever happened to Marlin.

So, long story short, what are the tube fed semi autos out there?
Click-Clack model 87?

I still see some NIB semis on EE. There is an SA-22 and Marlin-70 with 'low-count' use on EE today, very reasonable $. I bought a NIB Marlin 60 for $250 a few years ago, but now they run a bit higher. And I still use the 'speedy-loader' for the 60, and they can be made for any number of shots. See Post #12 for loader pics.

I've been using a Stevens 87C since 1980.
A good solid go-to .22.
I also have a Springfield ( Steven's) 87M which is more of a collectors piece.
