Two cartridges for hunting Canada

Canadian big game hunting only! :D not plinkers, or gopher guns, or trap shooting...etc

Two cartridges to get it done from Alberta Pronghorns to Nunavut Polar Bears!
I have a 257 Roberts and a 35Whelen. I'd prolly stick with that combo.

I also have a .270Win and 375/338 (in the works). I think that would work just as well or better.

Same as "Longwalker" ... 25-06 and 35 Whelen.

Bonus ... you don't have to change shell holders or trim lengths when
reloading ! There are a few powders that will work just fine in both,
and both seem to like Accubonds - but otherwise you can go from
75 gr. to 120 gr. in the 25-06 and from 180 gr. - 250 gr. in the "35-06"
but, if you want to keep it really simple, 110's and 225's will cover
just about anything you'll run into.

I happen to like CDL's ... so it works for me !

Boy it would be tough to decide between the 260 Rem and the 270 Win for light.....but the 375 RUM would definately do it all! But in any case either of the rifles would be loaded with Nosler Accubonds.

7x57 (hands down no question) and 375 H&H (I was tempted to say 45-70 but if limited to only one heavy rifle I would choose the H&H due to its longer range capabilities).
