Two more sleeps till my new actions come in.

Spent some time at the range today with the mate to Glocks 308 and
C4pyros 308 all with same barrels, I got 2856 fps consistantly using 175 SMKs burning 46.75 gr of Varget, I think but can't quote C4s 308 doing about the same.
As to whether it is the barrel, the Juice ... who knows, but this impresses me , for 308s with short barrels.

At 46.6 grains of vargant I was getting 2839 and 4 out of the 5 round were in one hole and then the other flier, which was all me. No signs of pressure. Might try going up a bit. Also had some 168 bergers. Had a few loads that shot equally as well and with matching grain for grain in powder there was only about a 20 fps gain. Dilemma's, dilemma's.
 
Looks good Ryan!! can't wait to get mine....still havent decided on the finish. But I think Im going to go with the blackend barel and a dark earth, coyote or some grassland type cammo job.

Rick has threatend to withhold my rifle until after BCRA on another post here.....Nice to know I make him nervous.;):p:D:D:wave:

LRC PLEASE!!!!! find a more talented 4 year old for this 1. The artwork on your M14 was something else;)
The only things that makes me nervous is your always wanting to shoot MY targets, or when you want to spot for me, your calling of comeups seems to need to help:eek::wave:

OUCH! LRC just got a :kickInTheNuts: :D

I have faith that LRC will allow his new rifle (when ever it gets built) to be painted by a pro (who can get his hands on it when the rifle is put together,,, months from now:eek:):evil:

In the mean time, you know where you can dig one up in a pinch, say for a shoot.

I go away for the weekend and miss all the fun. My baby is out getting painted but will be back in my hands very soon.
LRC, you can use my gun too; you just have to figure out how to reload it...

I won't be borrowing anyone's gun!!! (apreciate the offers;))

Mine WILL be ready with plenty of time to do load trials and train with the new gear!!!!!!!!!!:D
 
Bro, if I have to drive down and clear your action personally, I'll do it. I know you've been working towards the BCRA match so when the paperwork is ready, we won't be wasting any time. The other actions on the other hand might have to wait due to paperwork ie. Deb's since it got built later. I'm sorry I have to be the barer of bad news.;)
