Its essentially a svd and an ak fused together with the general layout of an sks. They thankfully didnt use any similar parts to an sks other than making the bolt handle the same style.

Probably. No aftermarket company is going to make aftermarket stuff until the market exists.

Enjoy your chin bruises. I talked to a guy who used one when he was serving in PLA. He hated the folder Type 81 vs Type 56 solid stock.

But it is a better one than Vz58's, that's for sure.

I use pipe foam insulation wrapped with camo duct tape, on my folders.. Works well and saves the chin
Locks open and closed..kinda the Rambo look
