I can't even begin to imagine your painful wait... I only jumped on board late last year. Hopefully you'll be rewarded soon.
I wanted one since the first day they were announced to go at the lab for classification

In a country with as much land as Canada has and we need ranges to shoot guns most of the time, it's unfortunate.

Sepends on your skill level. AK furniture will not work straight up but I recon with a little ingenuity it can be made to work. If the Vietnamese managed to get AK mags to work in an M16 all sorts of things are possible.
I've fired the type 56 firsthand and It's not great but it's really not that bad. Far superior to AK'S with underfolders.
Those who pre-ordered understood this. Production + expected set backs + shipping + inspections takes a very long time... If you cannot afford to park your money and wait then you cannot afford to pre-order. When I read the forums the only trolls complaining are those who haven't pre-ordered. You don't even have a dog in the wait, so why all the whinning??? We jumped at the opportunity to order a rare rifle that we never thought we would own... were ok, that its coming from half way across the planet, it's going to take some time yet....get over it and stop being offended on our behalf.... Pay up or shut up, lol....
Should be interesting to see how they will feel to us. Most Canadians are physically larger than the average pla soldier.
That is a pretty broad assumption there buddy.... tell me how can you tell which troll hasn't preordered???
