Thanks for the photos.

But I would say it can do way better than this grouping. :) I got 4 9s and 1 10s when I had military training back in high school. (target circle radius is similar (maybe slightly larger) to your target). at 100 meters. We were only given 5 rounds per person. I was shooting a type 56 semi. Type 81 is supposed to have similar accuracy. Oh, besides, we were asked to shoot 3 rounds at prone position and 2 rounds at kneeing position. We were trained for a week for aiming skill before the range shooting.

I agree that the platform is capable of much better. I have shot tighter groups with both the CZ and multiple SKS's (just not on this trip). I am sure the groups will shrink with practice.

These 7.62 x 39 rifles are not MOA sporting rifles. They are MOM (Minute Of Man) battle rifles.

These are MOM battle rifles not MOA sporting rifles.

These rifles are machetes not scalpels.

It's that simple

The Type 81 in the hands of people so far since they came in are most definitely a minute of man rifle just as Calibre Magazine posted when they reviewed the preproduction rifle.

Pretty shocked to see some results where the SKS might be a tad more accurate and the 858 definitely looks more accurate.

Any idea how long it takes to get the rifle once you’ve got a tracking #? Mine is still stuck in Calgary with a est delivery of October 24, 2017.... from last Wednesday. Doesn’t look like it’s moving or is there a postie out there with a new Type 81?. Hmm

You and I are in the same boat. Usually CP has minimal updates over the weekend. I'd expect some new news on Monday.

Seems ours are in a race... ITB

That is great. I don't know how old you are .. But trust me .. Your eyes aren't the same now as they were in HS.
If you don't have pics.. It never happened.. And 10 shot groups minimum.. It is a battle rifle..

It was nearly 30 years ago。LOL. Camera was a luxury thing back then。 I will try to take a photo when I get my folder。

I think the major difference is that people here might get used to the apertfure sight since AR15 is the mainstream here。I still remember the trick is to focus on front sight and the blur the rear sight to three layers and use the grey layer to aim。 And we were also taught to set zero to 200 meters and aim at the bottom edge of the target that was set at 100 meters, with the ballastic height it would just hit the center while at the benefit of not blocking the front view, therefore maintain fast target acquire capability。 Btw, my eyes are still 20/20。 They could be better then。 :)

And dont start flooding TI with texts, e-mails, phone calls and other foolish things
All you are going to do is slow down the shipping..
Just complain on CGN and dont listen to the naysayers

+1, we are receiving an average of 30 calls and 50+ emails a day on the topic

Controlling the narrative by getting ahead of it and posting the occasional status update would go a long way to solving your problem of 30 calls and 50 emails.

A post every day or so with something like "notices going out today for the last of the single order fixed stocks" or "Just getting into the folders and order for fixed and folders today..." go a long way.

Don't say anything... and people will flood your inbox.

Whoever get's their folding stock first please post and let us know! Oh and I'm sure we would all love to see some pics too!

Very sensible.

There is nothing to update - the rifles are in their possession and being shipped. Many people have theirs already. What update could they possibly need to provide???

How hard is at the end of each day to post an update of how many fixed/folders have been shipped?
It takes few minutes.

What would be the point? People need to chill, act like adults and simply be patient - the rifles are on their way and no number of pointless updates will change that.

Because then everyone would judge them on their rate of rifles shipped... RORS for short after 20 pages of talk about it lol

Seems like they are doing the best they can and guys are one by one getting their rifle.

Some just can't allow anyone to voice his or her discontent. Every time when someone suggest a more efficient and effective way of managing this long and agonizing process, they will go on attacks, basically telling people to love TI and not to bother them. Nothing to update? Many buyers could use an update. We know it is busy but that's what running a business means. There is a lot of room for improvement.

I have not received any info on shipment. I worry that ti missed my order.
