Fackin' hell boys, this thread has turned into the internet equivalent of a road trip with my two kids in the back seat.
Someone who has one already, post some groups at 100 meters and more info on reliability please.

H*ll yeah, but not MOA accuracy and I want some nice Chinese characters stamped on it too. Maybe a Tajik name tag (like K31s) would be nice too. :)

It really isn't that hard, if you know you are going to have a large shipment, contact Canada post ahead of time. Have shipping labels already printed and work some overtime if need be to get them out.

I've been treating mine pretty poorly and it's holding up great. I keep it in the warm house, throw it over my shoulder and take it out in the cold with me to walk the dogs then back into the house after an hour or two outside a couple times a day. No corrosion from all the condensation it gets coming inside, no funny wear other than I can see where the carrier is hitting the hammer on it's way backwards so I'll polish it up a little there.
I paid $1000 for a $700 rifle and I'm fine with that. It's a keeper, for now :p

Someone needs to start a new thread for pics and info only so it can be made a sticky. Need to wait till everyone has their rifles first so it doesn't get polluted with shipping and tracking and whatever else.

Got mine today! 6 mags fixed, ordered ages ago. Sorry for the crappy photos, I'm up north so my twin took some photos. Will upload 4k photos/videos later today. Got serial#00040

Magpul Moe AK grip on a type 81 anyone :)

I had to do a stupid amount of grinding to get it to fit around the grip pan (not fun).

The screw that comes with the Moe grip is the correct thread pitch and bolted right up, but you almost need three hands to get everything lined up.

Overall I think it looks pretty good, and for me it feels much better than the stock grip.

Since TI only sent me two mags and tried to get me to take a refund for my spare mags via emt :mad: I think my next project will be modding 10rd AK pmags to fit my rifle.
