Type-81 pictures, range reports, and modifications thread

Has anyone devised a decent way, other than swapping stocks, to extend the length of pull on a folder? It's like 2 inches too short, the back of the gun literally hits my glasses when I fire it and there's no way I'd be able to get proper eye relief with a zoomed optic on it.

Not sure if it will get you the full two inches, but I've seen an AK/airsoft rubber buttpad on pictures of people's folders. Maybe you could make a printed plastics buttpad extension?

Are there any other options out there for pictanny rails for this rifle, TA is sold out.

yes there is one option left from TI but you wouldnt like it. its worst than buying a kobra combo to get the mount.

to get a pic kit, you need to buy a LMG, no haha.

from else where? nothing concrete as we speak.

i have that one. its only an inch but could pad it to 1.5" at best.

I saw someone on Reddit was developing a 1913/Picatinny adapter that was mostly flush with then rear trunion on fixed stock Type 81s. If the developer, or another enterprising soul were to extend the adapter a few inches and added railed top to the extension, would the use of a forty five degree angle riser rail allow enough eye relief for a red dot/micro prism, and would there be enough clearance to pop the dust cover without detaching the mount and disrupting zero?
Would the length of pull still be practical with a 1913/Picatinny stock attached? The Grey Birch Canadian made stock has adjustable cheek risers that would compliment this idea.

Alternatively, could you create an adapter that would still add the top rail, but instead of having a rear rail, have a hollow to allow attachment of the original fixed stock, for extended length of pull (as some people find the Type 81 stock too short)? Could you have another version that would allow installation of an unmodified Zhukov or VZ stock? Just a crazy thought.

Edit: Below is a picture of the riser I saw on Amazon:
