If I would have to chose, I would always go for the 7.62x39. It fits into my collection, don't have to buy ammo and I have enough shoulder breaking calibers. I never saw anybody at my range shooting out to 300m, only me. Another bonus is that the missus has no problem with that round. She even shot a SKS last weekend without ear protection. The only thing she said was "It's a bit loud today". We both had a good chuckle. And yes, she has her license but I have to buy, lol.

Why is it out of stock when I dont select an optic, but is in stock when I add an optic? Can we buy them without getting an optic?

We were testing out a new "stock by attributes" feature to ensure we don't oversell add-ons, but it wasn't working correctly. It has been fixed now

Meanwhile they’re forgetting that a Type81 in 7.62x54 literally doesn’t exist. Like yea hey TI, where the hell is my rifle that doesnt exist and that you guys would need to design and build from the ground up?!

My read of the ad is no (which honestly I find hard to fathom). I'd pay for a rail that took ak optics and I suspect most others would too since it's almost mandatory for this platform.

I’d jump on this if it were chambered in a longer range calibre. The look is outstanding and I appreciate that Tactical Imports brings some unique options to our marketplace. I have purchased a fair few offerings in the past and the experience has always been good. I’d definitely get the latest in 308 if it becomes available.

On TI's description they say to expect 1.5-3moa from these which sounds about right for it's expected purpose !

ah ah that will be the best test coming this winter ... how crazy i can be ... lounging in the snow to check the plastic mag durability ... i will test some ak mags mod including yours and the ti ones too ,,,... do not have a drum any more and not requesting one lol ...
