Type 81

The problem with that I believe is that after a certian amount of time (some have stated the standard 90 days) the CC issuer won't reverse any charges. So that wouldn't work for people who have preordered long ago.

Youza.

No not true. I called and confirmed with mine and someone else already state the same thing with theirs

Well as I said before, I know it's not the same as having your own but if anyone in the Edmonton area wants to get their hands on one just send me a PM and we can try to line up a time (I'm off this weekend) for you to come out to my place to shoot. Or if you have one and want to play with it you're welcome to come out to my place (45 min North of Edmonton). I've got a 100yd range with steel at 25 and 50 yards (can put more plates out as well).

Anyone wanting to cancel their order that's already shipped just don't accept the package and you won't have to pay for return shipping.

Yeah you're 100% right. Initially my thought was "well its not TI's fault the rifle wasnt properly QC'd" so i thought wy not spread the shipping responsibility between buyer and seller...slept on it and the reality is TI is still responsible for the integrity of the gun, so you're correct that they should be covering all shipping fees.

And yeah, restocking fee should definitely not apply there for refunds.

If TI doesnt revise their refund policy for defective products I will definitely not buy from them again. This would be a much more serious issue than just shipping delay.

Youza.

Well, in the other "bent rifle" thread, at least one guy returning his rifle now says TI paid for return shipping.

So there's that at least... :ninja:

yeah right.. The CC company's can tell you what ever you want to hear!!!!!!!
I've seen nothing on my statement since a Nov. 21. 2017 return approval......
When you make a charge on the CC.. It is only a couple of days..
Something fishy when TI says 12 days????

Called my CC comp today opened a dispute,We will see what happens from here. Also I don't see how they can ask for a restocking fee if you havnt received any product. Not legal.

Lol now I would be worried. Maybe contact your CC and hear what you want to hear from them then

Why not call your own company permitted if you own a card and see for yourself instead of spreading false info

LOL what? why so serious?

what false info did I spread? I said some guys in another thread said it wasn't possible to do after 90 days. It might vary between CC issuers.

I won't call my CC company because I don't need a refund. If you do have confirmed information with yours that it is in fact doable then it might be a good idea to share it for others instead of trying to find a reason to butt heads with me over it.

Youza.

Thats true they can't.
My concern was that they did want the restocking fee for a guy who had received a bent rifle.

Maybe cuz it has already been stated by someone else aswell other then Dave S.
At this point it's just the same thing again and again and bent rifle again

I just spoke with someone at TI, after no reply to email or voice mail, I decided to select the parts and service option when you begin the call and was immediately put through to someone. The man claimed all remaining folding stocks had went out last night and that it is in Canada Posts hands now.

Bull####, my order hasn't updated and I've gotten nothing from CP.

Then I guess my rifles are on the way. I have received no updates or notices though.
I doubt they had a look at them like I asked to see if they were bent.

I received my rifle today after a 13 month wait

I got a response from TI in regard to the latest magazine ##### up I thought others may be interested in.

"Some remaining orders were affected but not all. If affected we will be providing another magazine free of charge upon delivery of our next shipment in a few short months."

A few short months, of course, being sometime 2019 if we're lucky
