I've already been tossing this idea around in my head. But it's really hard to come to any conclusion, 'cause i really wanted that bloody T97, like I know we all did. Like last July, when the pre-orders came out, I was thinking "Man, this is going to be a cool Christmas present for myself". I thinking how cool it would be to go home for Christmas with this new toy and go out shooting with all my brothers (Although we did shoot other stuff).

So I was thinking maybe a CZ 858, cause at this point it would be the best replacement, but they can't be found anywhere, so I go into a gun store yesterday, and ask what they have in .223 (cause I have all this .223 now with no fricken gun to put it in), and the guy hands me this nice remington bolt, and it was a pretty nice rifle, but it's still not the same.

I guess that's why I threw that idea out (knowing it would never happen) that we make these in Canada. As like a big F-U to the powers that be. And again, that's why it's so hard to find a "replacement" of sorts for the T97, cause there's really nothing else like it on the market, in the same price range.

The only thing that comes close is the mini-14, and well, nothing against the ruger, but, it's not a black, polymer framed, mean-looking bullpup, that takes ar-15 mags.
 
It's not over yet. Although it is taking a really long time! :) I had a baby girl yesterday (well my wife did).... It's pretty bad when you can create new life in the time it takes to get these decided on. lol I hope she'll be able to play with the T97 someday.

So some dude on CGN says these rifles are not coming.
Some other dude not on CGN says these rifles are coming.
I hope the former dude from CGN is just having a bout of PMS.
I hope the latter dude not from CGN is correct.

If only Strangeday were here to privy us onto the situation.

Same here. Heres to hoping he gets some more Tavors in And I will dump 3-4k on one of those instead as well as one or two of those IOR Scopes. And hopefully a bunch more 5.56 and 7.62nato ammo if he ever gets anymore.
