Type 97 Classification Issues - PART TWO

how many people have been killed with the 97 in canada? none? case closed. its not a weapon or terror. all weapons can be made into an auto with enough time and just a bit of skill. white bread is more dangerous than guns in canada.

I heard through the grapevine that a small batch may be on it's way into the country with some of the "offending issues" fixed. I PM'd the member that posted this and he directed me to a board member who seems to know a lot about the Type 97 issue but doesn't say much ( I believe you know who I mean);). I left it at that as I know I wouldn't have gotten any information out of him. No, it wasn't CanAm.

Take this info for what it's worth, which isn't much.

I am telling myself.
I am not going to pull out 3 grands for FS2000.

What is Type 97 issue. Too easily to convert to full automatic ????
 
paid for mine in full since july of 08, hopefully this is true and we'll be ready to rock out with these bad boys when the summer comes

Just order it...they don't charge you now unless it ships (which gets you onto the wait list if they ever come)...I did just that so I can make sure I do get my hands on one if ever they do arrive. Gotta remember that if the Type 97 makes it that the demand will be massive initially. Everyone will be clamoring for it...and backfill orders get precedent...

The issue is it looks scary and is a bullpup. Bullpups are responsible for hundreds of attacks on people every year...........o sorry that was pitbulls not bullpups. Maybe that is the RCMP's issue....Someone should straighten them out. Ok I am going to preorder.

I hear that...I could probably swing for it but then the wife would be springing for a lawyer :( (and we all know that costs waaaayyyy more)...maybe I could get her another dog??

That's why it's great to still be one of the original, paid in full customers in line. I think I am #71 or something. I hope the small batch is at least 100 rifles. P

Heh.... My Robinson in 6.8 shipped as well. Gonna be a god month for me. Until my wife finally figures a total on what I've spent... :D

And I have had the T-97 on order since February 09. That's not too bad for being in line. :D It's the one that got me wanting "black" (and red) rifles. Since then, I've got my CZ-858, M14(M305), A Rem VTR, a 1911, and am waiting for my XCR and Tavor. When the T-97 comes, I'll have that too. Now I need an SKS, generally considered the hardest one to attain! HAR!
