ok first off use the right terminoligy it is not a weapon it is a firearm you want to scare the anti's using words like weapon is a great way choose what you write before you write it please.

he would have said it better in french. I don't think he meant that word intentionally. I'm in NB, lots of frenglish here.;)

Well, my vote is that we will get our T97's, although the waiting and Customs/RCMP induced delay's are maddening! And yes, groundhogs WILL DIE!!! Bwahahahaha!!!

Cheers
Jay
P.S. I ordered on Nov.11th, Rememberance Day, Paid in Full Jan.28th.

LOL Looks like I was not the only one that ordered on the 11th.

The way I see the situation....
CBSA opens container of scary-looking rifles...
Nobody knows anything about them...
Send one to RCMP tech's to identify...
We'll have them in 2 weeks.

+1 That is a very plausible scenario. A lot more likely than scary liberal politicians hanging out in the container yard waiting for any shipment of badass firearms to target. It's like anything else... other than us, it's likely that no one really gives a damn beyond a passing interest. CBSA/RCMP included!

Customs is concerned about it, they download to the RCMP, the RCMP reports OK, goods are released. We are just waiting for the wheels to turn. I am not concerned about reclassification. The T97 has been sold for 2 years already as a restricted with not issues. It is likly the size of the order that scared the CBSA.

Good to know - now can we please focus on more constructive conversations - such as is anyone else thinking a .22LR conversion kit for the T97 might be a good idea?

I see that you posted at 3:16AM, your body is still 10 hours out of synch, LOL, jet lags a ##### eh? Hope your trip was fruitful.

I think what has folks concerned is the fact that bureaucrats are (for lack of a better word) such pricks. They are relentless in their attempts to eradicate firearms owners (hope I don't sound excessively paranoid here).

Anyhow, no sense getting all bent outta shape until there is any "official" word from from da gubbernmunt goons.

I have all the time in the world & many others toys to play with in the meanwhile,,,, thats when I'm not working.
+++Thanks CanAm!!!
