I called Lever Arms on the weekend and they said that they were getting checked over by customs so I'm still sitting on the fence.

They know sh*t about what is going on with this keep siiting on the fence and guess what you can buy a non restricted rifle from Lever Arms
 
The RCMP has a rifle, customs sent them one. Canam will update us when he gets more info.

Why are you guys phoning lever arms?

Why not phone chevy to find out when your new ford truck is arriving?
 
The email I recieved from Canada Ammo said they were still waiting. Who said the Type 97A's are ready for shipping? All speculation.
 
I don't know about a daily update but at least every once in awhile. It would help CanAm out by quenching the rumors, and minimizing all the phone calls and emails.

I would suggest something like this.....

"The rifles are still in customs because________________"
"The RCMP has a rifle and they say___________________"
"The 30 day wait period is over so this means__________"
"We hope to ship__________________________________"
"Anything else of interest"

CanAm fill in these blanks and I promise the annoying forum post, phone calls and emails will be greatly minimized.

I started a thread just for that, but as usual all sorts of crap is being posted in record time, sorry I tried, I too thought this daily update was a great idea, seperate thread, two seconds of someones time per day.........that is a lot to ask

C'mon guys, daily is crazy, he's trying to run a business. They're not coming any quicker by doing this. If he tells everyone everyday that, sorry not yet, it just gives more fuel on the fire for these posts.:eek:
 
How about we just assume they're still with Customs/RCMP until CanAm says otherwise.

That we, we get pertinent info when it comes available and CanAm can get back to doing other business (like running his business) instead of playing internet update to satisfy the minute-by-minute cravings of various posters.

I know. Crazy idea. :rolleyes:
 
I'm actually enjoying going through all these threads... It's entertaining and kinda fun trying to get a scrap of info. Google Type 97 and you'll find more. Take it easy on CanAm, the rifles will come. (Since I'm not bugging you maybe mine can come first? :) )

Jman, you really think its a crazy idea? CanAm's website still states that the tavor will ship in September...good thing he didnt put a year on it. I think the last thing people who have paid money need to hear are comments like yours. Let CanAm deal with the questions, that is "running his business". When he does that, people will not have so many inquiries to the products he is pre selling.

That's not good enough. We need updates every second. I propose that canam hires a person to type "still at customs" every second, 24 hours a day to appease the borderline retards who don't understand that the rifles are STILL AT ####ING CUSTOMS!!!!
