Earlier versions were without a quick change barrel but the newer ones have this feature.
Its been used by both Croats and Serbs during the civil war in the early 90's.
Not exactly a long recoil system. In long recoil, the barrel recoils with the bolt the full length of recoil, the bolt is retained, the barrel runs forward extracting the cartridge, then the bolt is released to run forward and chamber the next round. In the ultimax, the barrel is not recoiling with the bolt. The bolt is however given more room to stroke backwards so it does not impact the rear of the reciver, giving a usefull rate reduction as well as enhancing controllability. The only mechanical impact imparted during the firing sequence is the bolt striking the breech face and locking, which will have the effect of forcing the muzzle down and countering (somewhat ) recoil.
