++Update June 2024+ TEN INCH Barrels for the Derya TM-22 are a GO !

Can you explain this a bit more Leigh? Does that go in between the tube and the buffer disk? I just swapped out to a milspec tube...didn't cross my mind that something else should have been done.

I can see the walls of the Derya tube are quite a bit thicker than any of the regular AR tubes I've got laying around...does the rubber buffer just impact against the open end of the tube?

Would 3d printing and gluing in a plug work if we don't have the skills to machine up such a swanky plug?

You need to file or grind the 'lip' that sits at 6 o'clock on the buffer tube so the plug pictured in my hand sits flat . Then the rubber bolt buffer has a flat surface to strike when the bolt is cycled fully to the rear.

A note of caution for everyone playing with the buffer tube area : regardless of what you do, before firing the rifle you need to pull the bolt to the rear as far as you can by hand and MAKE SURE that the charging handle does not make contact with the slot in the side of the receiver that it runs in.If the handle does strike the rear of the slot then you need to screw in the buffer tube more. It should cycle as far back as possible without touching.

Good to know, thank you. Yep, I did file the scoop/lip off before installing.

OK ladies and gentlemen, we have reached our goal to get these going. The barrels are now well on their way to completion and a ROUGH ETA for shipping will be April /2024. That's all for now but keep tuned in here for any other updates or announcements. If you need a short handguard for your TM-22 then now is the time to source it so you are up and ready when the barrels are released. As for the XB-2 comps people have been asking about you can find them here on our website :

I dunno how smart it was, but I tossed a loonie in....seemed to be about the right size and allowed my tube to bottom out against the rubber disk. Cost around $1.

Will you guys have any fully finished guns for purchase? Not sure if this was asked but im in for one.

That was not asked I don't think.... Unfortunately we won't be making complete rifles at this time. With all we have going on in the shop and this being our busy season as it is there is just no time for these little guys, sorry brother.

You are pretty close. These little Derya rifles, with an AR-15 buffer tube and the butt stock fully collapsed it 26.25 inches with these barrels. It is the reason we chose that length, to minimize the extra work of having to pin the stock. If you have the fixed and fluted 'buffer tube' from the factory then it is longer than with an AR collapsible stock.

Please note, since this has been asked many times, you can use EITHER a Mil-Spec or Comm-Spec buffer tube, the threads on the receiver are the same size and pitch. The only difference is the diameter of the tube itself. However, you will need to modify ANY aftermarket buffer tube since they all have a lip at the 6 o'clock position to hold in the buffer retainer plunger and spring on an actual AR-15. This lip need to be removed if you use it on the Derya and we HIGHLY recommend having someone make a custom plug for the front of the tube to better support the Loonie size rubber buffer disc that comes with the gun. Here is a pic of the one we spun off for our shop rifle :

Any chance you could list the Dims used for this? Nice Mitutoyo's by the way ;)

I'm just off to pick these and some other stuff up from bluing. Should have them ready to ship by Tuesday. Just a heads up for those of you that placed pre-orders.

OK, good news for y'all. Got the barrels back from bluing and polished / test fired a few and they are good to go. We will finish them on Monday and start shipping them on Tuesday. There have been more than a few requests to add things to the orders so just a heads up now is the time if you want to save on double shipping.

Have a great weekend and we'll talk next week !

Good news.

Earlier than expected.

Edit: waiting on an email which is fine since weekend.. but to avoid the double shipping for a charging handle do I just order and get a refund for the shipping amount or do I need some special process?

Do we just add a note in the order to combine a new order? Not sure how much EMT to send :p

Got about the first 1/3 of this batch out the door. Couldn't do them all because of the regular shipping orders but will finish them all off and get them out the door tomorrow.
