Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Based on my linear projection calculator, you will be getting your approval 14 months from now. You can add a new family member to your family faster than that. He/She will be 5 months old.

Still have one outstanding transfer to be completed (bought July 6).
 
I tracked one of my transfers and got an email from a CFO.

My transfer is being completed by a CFO in a province where I don't live.

So, the transfers are not being completed sequentially by number and it's possie that they are being
done by a CFO in a province where you don't live.

So Does all this data collection mean anything at all ?

With this new info you have given us, hopefully not!!! I don't think I can wait until November as I'm accumulating parts to "upgrade" this new piece of equipment. Thanks for the new update!
 
I purchased on June 4th in Ontario - Ref # 5912000. Called the store today and they said they were instructed not to hand out reference numbers "as per CFO".

I'm wondering if this ban gets finalized if all the pending transfers get denied?

According to lawyer Ed Burlew any transfer that has been started WILL be completed.

helpful thanks...just to build on that...looks like about 69,000 transfers initiated over the month with a third of those in the first 4 days and nearly half in the first week....so i guess things will speed up a bit once they pass June 7th

and further still, for Ontario, assuming we represent 1/3rd of transfers and they can process a constant 200 per day...as an example, my transfer was initiated on the 16th so that means it will take 76.6 business days from June 1st to complete mine....so about Sept 16 (assuming monday to friday only) or 3 months.

but of course this is theoretical as they did not start from 0 at June 1st...they were still processing May 30-31 for a while but i dont have that data on those numbers

Looks good, I have something similar that I track, only wanted to point out 200 per day is close to national average of processing (~280 per day in whole Canada). Ontario is closer to 500 per week, 50 per day. I do not have enough datapoint to be sure, but this was discussed in one of the earlier posts. I hope your 200/day is how many Ontario can process :) I am using 500/week for Ontario.

So, if I'm reading and interpreting the tables correctly, June 3 and 4 transfers, in theory, should have been processed and completed by now?
