Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Do you guys know if there is any tread tracking the Ontario private to private transfers too?

There have been private to private transfers noted here so keep looking and i hope more private to private people post so we can track progress. No need to 2 threads to try and track. .

The only thing that is really biz to private is Wolfs spreadsheet as it was too complicated to track P-P because of the double contact needed. .

I’m in Ontario.

My other transfers prior to June 20 are still pending approval.

Wow those transfers are moving! The final of my FJT purchases was originally slated to be finalized April 2024, now it is looking like the end of January 2023! FWIW Ref 60336XX, initiated September 19.

It looks like provinces that have less of a backlog might be helping out.

I have one from September 29th and I wonder what would happen if the place went out of business before the transfer was approved considering the astronomically high volume and snail pace transfers ?

I would assume that they will have to hold on the guns or the cfo will take everything they have in the vault before they close.

59528xx received notice from retailer Oct 6 from Nordic to Ontario. Plenty of numbers before that still not approved from other retailers

note, NO approval email, just notice of shipping from Nordic

To me, this is indicative of the NS cfo processing the Nordic transfers, not Ontario. Ontario consistently emails, while NS does not.

I think this is the Ontario cfo lending a hand for businesses operating in their jurisdiction, as they are mostly caught up on domestic transfers.
