Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

4 months to the day for mine. Weeks of calling and not getting through. Emailed on Monday and got a reply a few hours later with the transfer attached. Ontario.

My writting sux, i was wondering if you could share the words you used to make it happen? I know that if i try they will take my name and put it back at the bottom

Could the NS cfo be helping out on transfers out of NS? Seems that these late transfers are all coming out of there.

I really hope this is the case, my Shadow 2 Orange is sitting at Nordic.

Can you please let me know the e-mail address you used? I also e-mailed and haven't heard from them yet.

Please no guys unless your number is way behind June 5-6 numbers... it wasn't the email most likely, 4 months from early june is what it's taking, it was time anyway. We all see how much they get done on weekends when they don't have to take calls or emails

EXACTLY, it was pure coincidence that the email and approval fell on the same period. THOUSANDS have flooded CFO mailboxes and it has not resulted in immediate approvals but probably delayed that person from making another approval in a timely manner. Flood the mailboxes at your own and all others peril.

Same exact thing here.

NS to ON.

Oct 3 Initiated, Oct 4 got the email saying approved and a separate email for shipping notification. No CFO email.

Maybe she called in and had everything in with her business approved?

Just saying, there is a possibility that the CFO's from all provinces have decided to authorize early transfers to the dealers that have been effected by the Hurricane. I know that many people lost power out there and it could be a security risk with the amount of damage that has been done in some cities out there. Not to mention, if power is out, they might not have a security system online now. This might be a long shot but just a possibility.

I've an outstanding unapproved ref # with Arms East. I wonder if they're going to go that route?

I'm not minimizing the impact of Fiona but why would a hurricane mean Maritime dealers get to jump the line?

Can someone please point me to the post that describes how to change the area code displayed? Thanks!

Download text now app, choose 709 area code, and call CFP at 9:00am Newfoundland time.

Arm's East is St. Johns NFLD. My dad lives on the east coast of the island and didn't report anything more significant than a bunch of rain, and St. Johns is further east than he is. I can't imagine they were hit hard at all, my understanding is that the storm tracked up the west coast.

You realize that the hurricane impacted the Maritimes as well and they saw significant damage in multiple cities and power loss to thousands. This being said, I was suggesting that the dealers with guns sitting in their business may pose a risk of theft if their business is affected by damage or loss of power.
