Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

To update the spreadsheets: email acknowledgment of internet application to transfer received Sept 2nd from dealer.
Date of receipt 22.09.02
number 60226xx

Currently the chart lists 6022500 as the end number for the day.
 
Cfo is not processing transfers faster nor we have gone throught the bulk. P to P transfers were almost impossible to get through the phone before June 13. Now we just got more P to P transferred being skipped so it feels faster. My June 13 P to P transfer is still pending. 593218xx
 
Transfer times aren't going quicker, but we are getting through dates faster because the biggest transfer initiation dates are behind us.

We are currently at 138 ish days from transfer initiation to approval, beginning of October we were at 115 days.

The longest wait Trophy currently belonging to Ganderite at 141 calendar days, although he wont keep this prestigious award for much longer, it changes hands every few days.

My trendline indicates my Oct 10 60500** Pietta will be around 200 days or so.

Buckle up folks, it is going to be a long wait.
 
Seems like there’s quite a gap between where they are with business to private transfers and private to private transfers. Not sure if they have one person working on the private to private transfers, and a larger group tackling the business to private transfers.

Agreed, I have an outgoing P to P, 59328xx from 11June that would have been done if it was a business transaction.

Speaking of wait times, has anyone confirmed if the OPP has officially on-boarded their “new staff,” because at the rate things are going it doesn’t seem like it.

Mine too 59342xx. I don’t understand why it isn’t going numerically?
 
Ontario private to private, 59321xx, initiated June 13, approved Nov 3.

Have another 59321xx, 70 behind the first one not yet approved.
 
Private was never aligned with business transfers anyway by numbers. Usually private numbers are generated earlier and sent to CFO after 2nd person completes the call, so given the same day, private numbers are usually smaller or earlier. Add to the fact it seems like a different guy does private transfers, plus it looks like they're not keeping private and business on the same date anymore, its impossible to track.

Didn't think of this but this could very well be the issue. The private numbers are generated when the current owner calls in but the new owner still has to call the RCMP to confirm, not the CFO, so it sounds like the CFO doesn't get it until the second caller completes. This could very well cause earlier numbers to be submitted in later stacks as I highly doubt the order is constantly be re-shuffled to keep the transfer numbers in numerical order.
