Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Received my transfer request on June 1st from March 25th. Now Im waiting for Bullseye London to ship...They said I need to be patient LOL.
Anyone else have issue with stores waiting after they receive the transfer to ship? They've had my money for 10 weeks!!

sounds like crap... that should of been packaged and ready to go long ago...
i made a complaint but didn't return all the information they were asking for. i think they just got to mine in due time.
a NR i just purchased from Bullseye, ordered on a Friday, shipped the next Friday, seemed a little longer then I thought. They are crazy busy and getting ready to move locations so they seem to be quite behind.

Transfer from Retail sent on April 2nd.
Got email from store to pickup today.
2 hours later firearm in hand.

Guessing it will only get worse unless they somehow start crushing 2 weeks of transfers every week.. If this trend keeps up we are going to be at 3 months waits soon which is insane
Does anyone remember the transfer waits ever being this long for this length of time?
I’m only in 3 weeks since my purchase so figure It’ll be another 5 weeks, unfortunately...
Looks like the Ontario MTO works to the same ethics as the CFO. I renewed my plates online on 12 April and was issued a 30 day paper receipt that would prove compliance until the stickers arrived in the mail. Called yesterday and they are working on 5-10 April and said I should be getting mine next week. So 8 weeks for them as well...

Been waiting for 4 weeks now.
Called my CFC, my MPP and my MP to find out what is it the Ontario CFO does? What work or procedures do these people do? No one will tell me.
Does anybody know what exactly they work at in doing a transfer?

Nothing but apply a rubberstamp. The really stupid thing about our system is that once the transfer is "sent to the province" it's already defacto approved by the feds. So sending it to the CFO is just a pointless bureaucratic exercise in obfuscation and delay.

Interesting. From what I read at the beginning of our current pandemic mess, we at least didn't have to renew plates for the time being because they anticipated long delays or just complete inability to get them done in a timely manner.
